The waterfalls were stunning!
Nice tour. Our bus didn't have air conditioning and the windows didn't open--it was about 75 degrees that day. Needless to say, it was awfully hot and stuffy. The waterfalls and scenery were beautiful. Driver did a great job of narrating.
A little over-sold for what you see; all but one of the waterfalls are on the side of the highway and about 10 minutes apart-- so you are off and on a little bus multiple times. The stop at the top of the mountain views were gorgeous-- but cold, even in August. The last waterfall that is a small hike, was the best. The bathrooms available are pit toilets; just be aware. The guide was knowledgeable and personable.
Skagway is a nice little town with an abundance of shops and activities. The excursion was great, but wished it was longer and had some additional stops. Overall, the family had a great time and would do it again.
We had a 9:30 am tour. Arrived in the office at 9:31 and the tour was loaded and gone already. Had our tour booked for 6 months. Nothing said to arrive early. I agree we were late but 1 minute? Really? We talked with the owner-he could have cared less-said they were busy with all the ships in port and there was nothing available for us. We did get full credit but this was a disappointment.
Got up close to many different waterfalls that you could only see from the tour van. All tours are with trained drivers with local knowledge of town and history. Highly recommend if you like waterfalls
This was awesome a great way to see some of Skagways beautiful nature. Easy ride, get off and on Pat was wonderful.
The guide was very knowledgeable. To me it wasn't worth the price. We saw more and better waterfalls from the ship while cruising past the Endicott Arm Dawes Glacier
The ebike Rainforest Tour was awesome- such a beautiful ride. Knowledgeable guides (Serena and Mallory) - it was a wonderful way to spend our day in Juneau.
The guide met us in the parking lot at the port, and we got into a small bus-like vehicle. The tour took us through some streets of the small and charming town. We drove to some waterfalls along the highway route, no hiking necessary, a couple scenic overviews, one inside Canada. You will need your passport for this excursion! The guide knew the history of the town and area. We returned to town and toured the goldminers cemetery, where he shared stories about some of the goldminers and some colorful characters buried there, we then climbed a nearby trail (steep but short)to a beautiful waterfall. The guide patiently waited for us to take photos or offered to take them for us. We rode the rest of the way into town where the tour ended. Total around 3 hours.
