Sitka Sound is home to some of the most amazing wildlife in the world. On our trips we often see seals, sea lions, sea otters, and whales. There is a wide variety of birds in our area as well: bald eagles, puffins, and muir are just a few that stand out. Sitka Blacktail deer and Brown Bears are also a common sight. This wildlife tour is perfect for those looking to experience the breathtaking and overwhelming scenery the Tongass National Forest has to offer, with fantastic opportunities for photography and making memories. No animal sightings are guaranteed. All trips are unique due to weather and time of year.

Captain Jaren was the best guide! His knowledge and love of all things Sitka made our trip so enjoyable. We saw seals, eagles, brown bears and so many whales. It was a dream come true for me and my family. The boat was perfect, the amount of time was perfect, communication was outstanding! Take this tour, you won’t regret it.

‘I’m a whale watcher” after this incredible experience. Our meeting place was just as described and easy to find! Loved that they had our name on the dry erase board to be sure we had the correct excursion. We were greeted by the owner/operator captain Jaren. We had a small group which made this a pleasurable experience as we were coming from a cruise ship of 4500 people so the people break was nice. 3 couples plus captain Jaren. We started our journey, salmon watching. We went toward a salmon farm in hopes of seeing bear feeding. Along the way Captain Jaron would point out numerous eagles in the area. Unfortunately, we did not see any bear, but watching the salmon jump, and the amount of eagles was incredible. We then made our journey to a location where Wales had been active and we’re not disappointed. We were able to watch numerous whales come up with full fins exposed as they dive down. This trip was up close and personal. A great way to go whale, watching as opposed to a large group boat. I think this is what I enjoyed the most. A small boat salmon, watching finding eagles and whale watching. This might have been the favorite part of my cruise.
Our guide Brody was very knowledgeable and friendly. He told us where we were headed to and what we were hoping to see. We saw a sea lion, lots of whales and two adult bears and 3 cubs.

Highly recommend this tour. Capt. Brody was great, very informative and engaging. Saw eagles, humpback whales, sea otters(up close) and jumping salmon. We had 5 guests and Capt. Brody. Loved the small boat experience.
Excellent use of time on the water. Saw and heard (spout breath/exhaust) humpbacks who cruised by us with engine off. Stellar Sea Lion tossing a salmon in the air and then eating it. Otters in the bay along with jumping salmon and bald eagles in abundance.
We saw many humpback whales, and got good and close to mother grizzly and her two cubs catching salmon. Our guide was a wealth of information. Great day!
Jaren was just fabulous. Local boatman his boat and he knew Sitka Sound. Small group of 6- we had an amazing show by a humpback who breached over 10 times! Otters and eagles and sea lions too. Highly recommend Jaren!
Great experience. Our guide was Joel. Very pleasant and knowledgeable. We saw a bear, lots of eagles, sea lions, sea otters and several humpback whales. One came within 10 ft. of our boat. Highly recommend.
