The tour was quite an experience. From the welcome drink - a winterwarmer made with sloe gin and the waiting area complete with an old bus. The tour with the gin tasting and the tasting notes as well as the gin distillation process was quite informative. The only disappointment was the fact that the production area was out of bounds and one could only see it from the gin tasting area whichreally wasn't that much of a distance from the area the tasting was taking place.
Great way to learn a lot about London gin, the tastings were very nice and ended up with a martini!
Good fun, entertaining and welcoming hosts. The tipples were generous and interesting to taste. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience! Well done.👍
Booked after an offer on Travelzoo. Greeted by Jasmin with clear instruction. Jasmine was ably assisted by Aiden. A lovely welcone drink beforegoing through to the rooms with the tastings set out and the three stills. A wonderful history talk and tutoring. A varied selection of gins and even a cocktail. Not rushed at all. A cute gift shop reasonably priced. I highly recommend this event.
Molly and Jasmine were excellent hosts who kept us engaged and interested. The gins we tasted were excellent and we learned a lot about the history and production of the spirit. Located right in the centre of Chiswick for transport and further food/drink options. Highly recommend!
We arrived early and were warmly greeted and taken through to the distillery where we enjoyed a efreshing sloe gin & lemonade on the Sipsmith bus. The tour (more of a sitting down experience) was very informative and entertaining and our guide was very engaging and answered any questions we had. We enjoyed tasting 3 more gins and finished with a cocktail. The goody bag takeaway was a delightful and unexpected treat! We were there for approximately two and a half hours, although the guided tour has a running time of 90 minutes (slightly overran but this was not a problem at all). We left on a happy little gin cloud 😀. The only thing I would say is that there are no snacks provided to have with your gin, so make sure you've eaten something before you get there to line your stomach!! If you love gin, or know someone who does, this is a fabulous treat. We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon.
Lucas and Aidan were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, and they made the whole experience so much more carefree and enjoyable. I now have a completely new appreciation for gin and, more importantly, for the craft, passion, and attention to detail that goes into creating a truly great gin. It was fascinating to discover what really happens behind the scenes and to understand the story and craftsmanship behind every bottle. A huge thank you to the wonderful team at Dipsmith for making the experience so memorable and for sharing Jared's exceptional Sipmisth Martini !
The whole event was delightful. The meet and greet with a sloe gin and lemonade was delicious. This was followed by tasting three other gins finishing with a London dry gin and vermouth (martini ) mixed in spectacular style. The "tour guide" Lucas" I believe was extremely knowledgeable, passionate and very informative. We (four of us) thought it was an excellent evening and would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys a different night out, and a glass or two of gin
Great tasting and tour! Awesome to learn about the gin, how it is made and the history of the distillery and the brand
Amazing. The back story to Sipsmith and history of gin was entertaining and interesting. Jes is an expert entertainer and storyteller notwithstanding teaching us all how to properly taste gin with different varieties. All staff were exceptionally friendly and ready to answer any questions. Would highly recommend.
