Sian Ka'an is one of the largest protected areas in Mexico with a great natural diversity. The best way to discover Sian Ka' an is on board a boat which get you to explore different coastal and marine ecosystems that are habitat for many wild species of birds, turtles, dolphins, manatees and the great fish diversity of the Mesoamerican reef. Your tour includes transport from Tulum, lunch in Punta Allen and snorkeling equipment. The snorkeling activity is heavily dependent on the sea conditions which can unfortunately not always be anticipated until we reach the sea. Moreover, in the event of bad weather conditions, this tour is subject to cancellation.

Went to the biosphere with Leah, who was so wonderful and did an amazing job! She taught us so much about the wildlife and nature around us. We saw a manatee, dolphins, and got to snorkel and see some sea turtles! Our car driver Axel was also very safe and both boat drivers, Alexis and Martin were so fun and made sure we saw some amazing wild life!
We just got back from our tour to the Sian Ka’an Biosphere with Lea and we had such a good time. Everything was so well-planned, from pickup to drop-off. Lea was incredibly knowledgeable about the biosphere, teaching us about its history and the many kinds of birds, fish, and other animals that live there. She knew where to take us to see dolphins, manatees, birds, and turtles. The snorkeling was fabulous- crystal clear waters and loads of fish. Lea is fluent in German, Spanish, English, and French, so she was able to guide our multilingual group with no problem. We greatly enjoyed our tour and highly recommend it to anyone who loves nature!
The tour is wonderful from pickup to drop off. The boat ride through the wetlands was beautiful and we saw dolphins, manatees, pelicans and other special birds. Then we took a different boat out on the ocean and were lucky to go snorkeling with beautiful fish. The. We swam in a natural pool, which was a swallow part of the sea of light green color. After we had delicious lunch in Punta Allen, saw a crocodile in the lagoon and went back. Guides are friendly and knowledgeable. There are places in the world you can reach more easily to snorkel and see dolphins, but sian kaan is not one of them which it’s why it is costly to go there. You go in a small group and spend a lot of time with the guides and several captains which costs money. It’s nice to support the Punta Allen community.
It was a very lovely tour. We got to see every single animal that were mentioned in the tour. Sadly we weren't able to snorkel due to high waves. Pablo was nice enough to do use the snorkel mask at the shallow natural swimming area in the ocean. We got to see some pretty fishes and a crab. Pablo was very intelligent about different species and habitats. Highly recommend this tour.

We spent an extraordinary day with México Kan Tours in the Sian Ka'an reserve! Our guide Jessica was excellent, in a good mood, and professional! We were very lucky to see a manatee amongst many other incredible animals! Punta Allen I could’ve skipped. Rodrigo (captain) and Jessica (guide) were very passionate and entertaining. Miguel was OK until he flipped out on me due to a misunderstanding at lunch. I think he was having a bad day so I forgive him. I am a Travel Agent and will recommend this tour, but probably the half day as Punta Allen was not worth it to me

The Sian-Ka’an-Punta Allen tour is an incredible experience, the tour lasts approximately 10 hours, you take a short trip on a somewhat bumpy road, then take a boat that takes you to the Sian-Ka’an lagoon where you can see mangroves, birds, and crocodiles, then you arrive at the sea where, with luck, you may see dolphins and turtles, later they take you to swim in a place called the pool, a place with clear and calm water, you spend a very pleasant time there, and to finish, you arrive at Punta Allen, a fishing village where you enjoy delicious fish. My trip was with my partner celebrating our anniversary and it was great. Our guide Cristina was very attentive, well-prepared, and made us have a lovely day. It was all worth it. Important note: bring insect repellent or you will suffer the consequences of the mosquitoes.

We had a great day exploring Sian Kaan. There were eleven in the group, divided k to two boats. Christina was a great guide who is passionate about this land and the animals who inhabit it. Learned a lot of these amazing animals and we got to see crocs, a manatee, dolphins, turtles and many different bird species. Christina was very kind to my daughter and gave her many opportunities to see these beautiful animals up close. The captain was great as he put us very close to them. Great lunch in Punta Allen's local village. Met a lot of great people on this tour. We got a flat tire as we were trying to return so we played some soccer on the beach. Great day.
