Shoreditch Street Art Private Tour: More Than Just Banksy

Description
Shoreditch used to be one of London's roughest corners. Now it's home to some of the most photographed streets in Europe, and the transformation happened one wall at a time. This walk takes you through the murals, the stencils, and the stories behind them, from world famous names to brand new local artists transforming the area today. This is a private tour, just your group and a local guide who actually knows this scene, not a script read off a laminated card. Expect honest opinions on what counts as real street art, plus the odd surprise, our guides have bumped into working artists mid tour more than once. This neighbourhood is also a magnet for fashion, food, and design, so if anyone in your group is more into trainers and streetwear than gallery walls, there's plenty for them too. Two hours, entirely on foot, shaped around whatever your group wants more of. Good for: families, friend groups, art lovers, and travellers who want to discover London off the beaten path.

Lily was the best tour guide we've ever had. As a young woman she brought a lively and modern perspective to the tours which was very welcome and also helped to engage my kids!
The tour led by Bobby was wonderful. Bobby passionately introduced us to the neighborhood and its graffiti, conveying the true spirit of the area and of street art. He was engaging throughout the tour and always happy to answer our questions.
It‘s been one of the best freewalking tours I‘ver ever made. So interesting, entertaining and remaining! I just can repeat what I wrote on the Booking Platform (Guruwalk) Such an extraordinary experience. Bobby is the born guide: he has the talent to give you lots of interesting information without letting you feel overloaded. The shown places are very beautiful and differently selected pieces of art. The 2 hours flew by. Had so much fun! Defnitley one of the best free walking tours I‘ve ever made. Simply THE Street Art Tour! Thanks to Bobby!!
Fun and instructive visit, lots of anecdotes, fine sense of humour
What a lifechanging experience. James is an amazing tour guide and gave lots of insightful information. It was very easy clear communication throughout the entire tour.
Great tour with very knowledgeable guide (Bobby). Enjoyed the variety of art and the background and controversies about the area. Sad to think new money and gentrification may destroy the charm of the area.
Unforgettable tour, highly recommended! I feel I have learnt a lot about the area and about street art. The guide Rob was fun and very knowledgeable, worth the time and every penny!
Great experience. Big added value to the trip.
Fabulous informative and fun tour. Ben is a very knowledgeable guide, passionate about his subject matter. Highly recommend doing this tour if you’re an art lover.
The guide (Big Ben) was really great, considered, funny, incredibly great and easy to listen to. He changed completely the way I look at streetart and even gave great recommendations for what to do right after the tour in the vicinity. I couldn't have asked for more and will definitely take another tour with them next time I'm in London, maybe even the same. Warmest of recommendations.
