Shore Excursion to the Amalfi Coast

Our experiences with DVL for this tour, as well as for the Taste of Amalfi tour, were outstanding. Our driver, Matteo, was professional in every way and his knowledge of the area & recommendations added insight to our travels. Most of all, he confidently and safely navigated unbelievably narrow streets and insane traffic. My only comment would be the online descriptions of our tours, which didn't directly address the additional costs of the daily events that were described in our tours, such as the lemon groves, winery, etc. We assumed that they were part of the day tour, but we should have examined the fine print!

When I was initially looking into options of booking a driver from Rome to The Amalfi Coast, I stumbled upon the Dole Vita website. From my initial interaction with Marco until we arrived at the airport to leave Italy, Marco was immediately responsive -at any hour I would I contact him. He planned the perfect tour and provided an English speaking driver which helped put me at ease. Knowing I did not have to worry about navigating, having to translate on my own and that I knew we would have the same company to travel back to the airport relived unnecessary pressure which should be anyone’s experience while on vacation! Marco helped make the most out of our one day of the Amalfi Coast- we were able to see Pompeii , eat in Positano and even had an opportunity to have pizza in Naples. Everything worked out perfectly thanks to Marco’s assistance with planning and prompt and efficient communication!

We had the most amazing time! Manuel was absolutely the best! We cannot say enough about how wonderful he was! The Amalfi Coast is the most magical place. We saw stunning beauty around every corner. Manuel drove us from our Cruise Port through coastal towns, stopping at several picturesque stops for us to explore and shop. The Mercedes Van was extremely comfortable, nicely air-conditioned, and with Prosecco on board!! He was extremely knowledgeable about all of the history and cities along the coast and brought us to the nicest areas. The lunch he arranged for us was hands down the best seafood and pasta we have ever had, with a gorgeous view from our table. THE BEST!!!! This was our absolute favorite part of the trip! Thank you, Manuel! We are definitely coming back!

The tour guide was so kind and attentive to our needs. Very knowledgeable in suggesting what works best and effective for visiting locations. We were a group of 6 and we all highly recommend Dolce Vita , Manuel was excellent

We thank Antonio for showing us around Amalfi, Ravello and Positano. His recommendation for lunch was excellent we enjoyed eating seafood pasta under the Amalfi lemon trees.

Antonio picked us up and the port and provided us with a customized tour to see Sorrento and Positano. He was very knowledgeable, a great driver, provided excellent recommendations, and made sure we made it back to port in time.

We had the most incredible experience with Marco and Dolce Vita Limousine! He provided transfers to and from the Naples airport (including a stop in Pompeii) as well as a full tour of the Amalfi coast, which included lunch at an exquisite winery. Marco’s deep personal knowledge of the area, friendly personality, pride in his work, and attention to detail made our 20th anniversary trip to the Amalfi coast more special than we could have imagined. As someone who is very motion sensitive, I also appreciated the gentle way he took the many hairpin turns on the Amalfi coast drive. Highly recommend!!

Marco was an excellent tour guide and went above and beyond to make sure our tour was one of the best days we had on the Amalfi coast. I asked him to not give us a regular tour but come up with different interesting things to do. Our 4 hour tour ended up being an 10 hour tour. We saw Amalfi, Positano and the whole coast line up to Ravello. He made special arrangements with a local winery and got us a tour of the winery as well as having a traditional Italian lunch cooked by 3 awesome women. The winery was Tenuta San Francesco Winery in Tramonti. We had a different bottle of wine with every course and it was just an amazing experience. The wine was so good I ended up buying 8 cases of their wine and had it sent back home. Marco also stopped and got us a mini tour of a Ceramics factory near Amalfi. My wife was beside herself with all the ceramics that were on display. It was just an awesome day. I cannot say enough good things about that day. When we go back we are going to call Marco and make sure he is a big part of our trip.
