We enjoyed our visit to the Blarney castle with our awesome guide Richie and driver Tim who maneuvered the coach with ease through tough areas. We would definitely recommend this tour! We even got an added bonus by Tim taking us to a cemetery and St Coleman‘s Cathedral that was not listed in the description of the tour so we got to see more than what was expected.
This was a very nice excursion. Our tour guides Rich and Andrew were lovely gentlemen. We enjoyed talking with them. The tour started right off the ship and so we did not have far to walk. The gardens at the Blarney Castle were beautiful. We also had time to shop and get a bite to eat. Unfortunately, a woman forgot her cellphone at the castle, and we lost about 45 minutes waiting for her to retrieve it, so we did not get to tour the cathedral in Cobh at the end. People were not happy about this; however, it was very nice of the driver to accommodate her. All in all, I would definitely recommend this excursion.
This was a very interesting tour; the train ride was informative and so easy to get to. You get off the ship and walk to the train station, could not have been easier. After train ride we took a bus to Blarney Castle, our guide (Richie) and driver (Tim) were very informative and fun. We were not actually able to enter Blarney Castle due to the wait time, but we toured the gardens and thoroughly enjoyed the day.
We would highly recommend it Andrew our narrator gave us the best insight he could thank you very much
Great excursion. You can either get in line to kiss, visit the barney stone or view the beautiful gardens. We did not have time.for both. Lots of shopping which we could not do either. Andrew and Dan our bus driver were fantastic! Highly recommend
Had a wonderful time with our guide Andrew and driver Martin. Andrew's knowledge of the scenery and history was fascinating. He did a terrific job helping navigate the bus around unexpectedly closed streets. Andrew was friendly and fun and made us feel right at home in Ireland. We went to Blarney castle and Andrew helped those who wished to get to the line to kiss the stone. The rest of us he helped find good shopping and food. We also visited a very historic cemetery that Andrew shared many interesting facts about. Maybe the best part was visiting a 20th century cathedral that was absolutely magnificent. And it was so close to the shore that we got a great view of the cruise ships. Definitely recommend this tour whole heartedly. Thank you Andrew and Martin for a terrific day!! Deedi & Tammy
My husband and I got right off the cruise ship where they were waiting for us at the train station then to a bus to blarney castle. Our tour guide Andrew and Martin the driver were excellent and knowledgeable. I will say be prepared to wait at least 90 mins to kiss the stone but we ended up just walking the grounds. The tour took us all around cork as well.
Great host (Andrew), very kind and friendly. Tour around the City was very interesting. A better option than cruise alternatives
Very nice tour beginning with the train and ending with a bus tour to Blarney Castle and a tour of Cobn. The guide was knowledgeable and professional. It was very nice to see the countryside of Ireland with added tidbits of history along the way.
We took this tour as part of a cruise ship that was docked in Cobh. Very easy to get to the train (literally right off the ship). It wasn’t very scenic but it wasn’t ugly either. The tour guides worked very hard to ensure that we all stayed together and got on the right trains. Richie was our guide for our smaller group on the bus and he was enjoyable. Kissing the Blarney Stone is about all you’ll have time for if you’re going during the high season. We waited 2hrs. But it was worth it! The grounds are beautiful and the town nearby is also very picturesque and cute and enjoyable with shops and bars. We enjoyed our tour!
