Great experience. The walk up the mountain was very tiring and the temperature was very cold, but definitely worth it for the sunrise! I would recommend this tour (just wrap up warm) 5 stars from us

Mount Saint Catherine Monastery
Departure for the excursion is carried out from Sharm el-Sheikh. The last group departs at approximately 20:00. A comfortable bus will take you to the foot of the mountain in 3 hours. From here, under the guidance of a guide, begins a three-hour trek to the top of 2285 m above sea level. A long walk will lead you to a 700-step stone staircase. Having overcome this last part of the ascent, you will find yourself on the top of the mountain. The hiking lasts for 3 hours (from 01:00 to 04:00). The time was not chosen by chance, having a little rest after the hiking, you will be rewarded for your hard work by the view of the sunrise, which on the top of Mount Moses is more beautiful than anywhere else. If the path turns out to be beyond your strength, it is possible for 200 e. pounds to rent a camel that will take you to the top of the stairs. After descending the mountain, you will visit the monastery of St. Catherine, which has been operating continuously for 16 centuries.

Great Hike but….
The hike to Mount Sinai/ Moses Mountain was tough! But so worth it! The tour company did not provide breakfast as advertised, they only gave us a date bar from the convince store after the long hike and they don’t sell food at the rest stop area at the bottom of the hike only snacks and the bathroom attendant was very aggressive with tipping to use the bathroom( bad attitude ) The tour company don’t have a structured pick up and drop off schedule, they picked my group up first and we were close to last to be dropped off. I have taken tours in the past and if you are the first to be picked up, you’re the first to be dropped off. My group rode around over 2 hours for pick ups and drop offs. Lastly, I would recommend this trip solely off the hike, religious purposes, and life long experience. If I was accustom to the country or found a tour company that cost a bit more with a smaller group I would have chosen it.

Best Tour Guide in Egypt
Did two tours with this company from Sharm El Sheikh. One to Cairo for the Pyramids and one to Jordan for Petra. AMAZING!!! Communication was fantastic. My group knew exactly what was going on and where to be at what time. Early morning and late evenings they were responding to me with a quickness. Hassle free tour. My excursions would not be as fun without them. All the behind scenes was easy. Payment, transportation, clarity. Everything.
