Description
.The tour starts with pick up from centrally located hotels in North Goa and proceeds towards world UNESCO heritage sites. Located in Old Goa, Basilica of Bom Jesus and Se Cathedral are the most visited landmarks of Old Goa. These churches are situated nearby and can be explored on roads. The architecture of these churches is a mix of Catholic and Portuguese. Later you will visit Shree Mangesh temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The Goan architecture of this temple is mesmerizing and unique. After experiencing the religious side of Goa you will proceed towards the quiet Dona Paula Beach. You can enjoy water sports and can shop for souvenirs. The next location is a bustling area within the capital Panjim, Miramar. Many shacks sell local fashion, jewellery, and food here. The last stop is the Mandovi River, where guests are free to take one hour Cruise ride or relax at the Riverfront. The tour ends by dropping the guests off at their hotel/meeting point in the evening.

Basilica of Bom Jesus
Your first destination is India’s first small basilica. It is one of Goa's UNESCO World Heritage sites. Located in Old Goa, this beautiful church holds a special place in everybody's Goa bucket list.
Se Cathedral
This beautiful Portuguese gothic style Cathedral is located exactly opposite to Basilica of Bom Jesus. It is a well-maintained church, that has eye-pleasing. This is the largest church in Asia and took around 100 years to build back in 1562.
Mangeshi Temple
A beautiful mix of Hindu, Christian and Muslim architecture can only be seen here. Shri Mangesh temple is located at Mangeshi Village and is one of the largest and most frequently visited temples in Goa. It was earlier located at Kushasthali (Cortalim) but a number of Hindu temples were destroyed in Goa during the Portuguese Inquisition. So, the devotees of God Manguesh removed the Shiva linga from there to the current location in the middle of the night.
Dona Paula Beach
Named after a Portuguese romantic heroine Dona Paula, this place is popular in local folklore and is home to Baroness von Leistner’s 1969 “Image of India” statue. Quiet Dona Paula Beach offers water sports and souvenir shops. High-end hotels and restaurants offering western and Indian food.
Miramar Beach
Located in the capital Panaji, Miramar beach is the quiet one. You can enjoy long walks and waves here as you won't come across much crowd here.
Mandovi River
Enjoy an hour of River Cruise at Mandovi River. Soak into the beauty of the natural essence of Goa while on the cruise. The ticket price is not included int he tour and can be purchased on the spot.

Avoid!!
The local company that my booking was passed to 'Tripbea' are awful My original booking was confirmed and then Tripbea said it could not go ahead as we booked too late, I then asked to move it to the next day- to which they agreed but they changed my pick up location as the one I initially picked from the list was 'not in thier pick up zone' I was then told I would get a message before 10pm the night before with the driver details but my pick up window was 8am-8.30am- I did not receive this message. I waited on a busy bridge which is the pick up location I was given for over 45 minutes and no pick up . I messaged Tripbea but they have still not replied to me

Great trip to south Goa
Overall it was a great trip. Got to see some beautiful places in south Goa. Only the evening cruise was not worth the money in my opinion, next time I'd rather skip and spend some time in Panaji instead. Besides me, only Indians were on the bus. To me this was not an issue, but it is something to be aware of. Also the explanations were mainly in Hindi, but the tour guide always gave me a short summary in English as well.
