Tony offered a great mix of local history, culture, and storytelling to bring the pub culture in Dingle to life. He added Irish drinking songs and poems to engage us. He was warm and personable, like having a local friend show you the local pubs.

Get to know Dingle’s most iconic pubs with Tony your local guide. The only tour of its kind in Dingle and a great way to meet people while on vacation. Tony is a well known local guide who’s focus will be making the tour informative but also a bit of craic along the way. He may even sing a few songs. We learn about Dingle history, Fungie the Dolphin, a demonstration of our national sports Gaelic Hurling and Football and much more..... Stories are told of the history of the pubs by Tony, the pub owners themselves (if they are around on the day) and the odd local might have something to say :) Our aim is that you leave Dingle having formed a fond core memory of your trip with us on the tour.
This will be where the tour begins, a quick introduction and itinerary for the tour on the day.
Here we will be learning a bit about the history of the world famous Dick Mack’s pub and tasting one of their ales which is situated next door.
Here we will be learning a little bit about the history of how the iconic Foxy Johns pub came to be so popular with tourists and locals alike. Very likely to meet some locals here and a glass of the black stuff included also.
Secret pub location unveiled on the day (Nothing is more than a 5 minute walk from each other on the tour)
Bawn Brosnans is the location and here we will have a Gaelic Sports demonstration along with some history and some Guinness (or Soda)

I totally enjoyed myself. The others on the tour were great company and our guide, Tony, was a joy! And he sings very well too! I learned so much about the histories of pubs in Ireland. We visited the most interesting pubs! Dingle is a great place to visit, my second trip in 2 years. The group was not too large, which was also a positive. I totally recommend this tour to anyone lucky enough to travel to Dingle.
Great music. Good times. Tony our tour guide was knowledgeable and fun.
We truly enjoyed our tour of Dingle pubs with Tony! He is very knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend time with. Tony provided us with some behind-the-scenes views of Dingle's landmark pubs. Along the way, he gave us a tutorial on Irish Hurling and how to hit the ball called a "sliotar" with a special stick called a "hurley" (in Irish a camán). Toward the end, Tony sang us a traditional pub song (his voice is pretty good, too!). THANK YOU, TONY, for a very memorable experience! Wishing you all the best and we hope to see you again on our next visit to Dingle -- Sláinte! JD & Susie (visiting from Ohio, USA)
Tony was fantastic! We arrived about 15 minutes late and he couldn’t have been kinder. We had our 5 month old son with us and he modified the tour to accommodate our needs. We learned about local sports, history and traditions of County Kerry, and so much more! Highly recommend this experience with Tony! Thank you again. Cheers!
Best pub tour ever! Tony is very knowledgeable and professional in his presentation. Very informative on the history of each pub and their history.
Ah thanks for the kind words Bill, so glad you guys enjoyed it. We might have a pint if you come and visit us again.
we had so much fun with Tony at four interesting pubs in Dingle! He’s a great local guide and we learned about the area including a few things about sports and Fungi the dolphin. Take this tour if you are looking for a fun afternoon and make sure he sings a song for you along the way!
Thanks so much Laurie, glad you had a good time.
Superb tour. Visited 4 historic pubs, all with a different backstory. Tony is a great guide. Strongly recommend this tour.
Thank you very much for the kind words Jane, delighted you enjoyed it so much.
We did a lot of tours and excursions on our visit and this was one of our favorites. It wasn't rushed, it wasn't too long, and each place we stopped at was unique. Places we likely wouldn't have found on our own and our guide, Tony, was very good with the directions and instructions, and even gave us extra tips and ideas for local things to do. We plan to come back again in the next 2 years and for sure ill do another pub walking tour with them!
Thanks so much Danielle, really happy you guys enjoyed it and look forward to having you guys again. Extra beer included for repeat customers :)
We had a great tour with Tony. We visited four pubs and he shared a lot of information along the way. Not only the history/ information about the pubs, but also local stories, traditions and sport. This tour was a great introduction to the area and also gave us ideas for a girls night out later in the week.
Thanks so much Jennifer, really glad you enjoyed it.
