Shared Guided Small Group Tour from Galway to Inis Mór

Description
This premium Inis Mór day tour from Galway is the ultimate way to experience the largest and most famous of the Aran Islands! This journey combines the rugged beauty of the South Connemara coast with an intimate, deep-dive exploration of Inis Mór’s history and culture. What makes this tour stand out? We’ve swapped the large crowds for a small-group setting (max 24 guests) and replaced the standard “tourist trail” with an authentic island experience. Upon arrival, you’ll leave the main coach behind and join a local islander for a private minibus tour of their home. From the towering heights of Dún Aonghasa to the quiet, traditional charm of the Cill Éinne area, you’ll experience the island through the eyes of those who live there.

We had a good time throughout the tour. Sean and Steve took us around as if we were a class. There were 20 of us on board. The time is well paced even for those who need their own space. Sean's commentary and explanations about Irish life, including the past, were a nice surprise. A concentrated and well-planned tour of this beautiful place.
Go to Inis Mor with Ciaran, a native of the island with in-depth knowledge and a great sense of humor. Speaks Irish ☘️
I really enjoyed the small group tour to Inis Mór. Our guide, Ciarán, was extremely knowledgable and helpful! It was wonderful learning more about Irish history through him and you can really tell how passionate he is about Ireland. On top of that, the tour was planned well and we had ample time to explore Dún Aonghasa. The small group allowed for a more intimate view of Inis Mór which I thoroughly enjoyed.
We had a great time, Ciaran was beyond knowledgeable. He was personable and genuinely knew the town. If you get a chance to go it’s a must.
Fantastic tour our Guide Ciaran was so knowledgeable and being an islander was able to depart all sorts of very interesting facts. He’s a lot of fun. Really enjoyed the day
Brilliant trip with excellent guide Ciaran. He is a true local, having grown up on the island and who shares his passion for the language, culture and history in a fun engaging way.
We've done numerous guided tours over the years and this was the best ever. Ciaran's outgoing and engaging style combined with his intimate knowledge of the Aran Islands made for a wonderful experience. He was born and raised on Inishmore or and his family has lived there multiple generations. He was very open to sharing history and the current social and political situation of island life.
This is a great tour, well-paced, informative, and a series of beautiful sites and scenes. Kenny Jordan, our guide, was experienced, helpful, humorous and top notch. A trip worth every penny. Innisheer is fascinating with its miles of stone fences, and the views from the Burren above and the Cliffs of Moher from below are not to be missed.
Kieron was PHENOMENAL! I can’t thank him enough for showing us the best of Inis Mor. His story telling and humor made the day an absolute blast. His small group tour made everything so personal. I loved the entire experience and couldn't recommend this tour enough. Anyone looking to have a day learning true Irish stories and history will have a great time. Thanks so much!
