Shared Fireflies Tour with Blue Tears and Seafood Dinner

This was such a great experience!!! We had a great time and I would highly recommend. Dinesh was a great guide and extremely engaging!!!

We enjoyed the tour, although we couldn't see the blue tears well due to the nature.This was solved by scoping in the water, so we do saw a little bit of the blue tears. It would be nice if all tour members sit together for dinner. A way to get to know eachother. Our driver and guide Dinesh was very professional and explained the highlights very well.

This was a brilliant afternoon and evening. Each part was great. Meeting the monkeys was brilliant. Dinner was delicious in a gorgeous restaurant, sunset and we saw huge monitor lizards. The fireflies were beautiful and we saw the blue tears glowing. Alvin was a great guide, fun and relaxed. It was good to end at the Petronas towers at night too. Lovely!

My first evening in KL yesterday was nothing short of magical, and it was all thanks to our incredible guide, Dinesh! The fireflies and the glowing blue tears were interesting to witness in person. However, the absolute highlight of the trip was feeding the monkeys—an unforgettable experience that Dinesh made so seamless and fun. His enthusiastic energy, local knowledge, and attentiveness made the entire evening perfect. I highly recommend this tour and Dinesh to anyone visiting!

This was a great tour, a real highlight of our time in Malaysia. The monkeys are very sweet & much friendlier than the ones at Batu caves. It was very interesting to see the fireflies but the highlight would have to be the phytoplankton. We didn’t have high hopes to see them but they were very clear. Our driver, Vijay, was lovely. Would recommend this tour for anyone coming to Malaysia.

We did the Firefly and Blue Tears tour, which was great. Our guide, Guna, put in a lot of effort to ensure everyone had a good time.

Gamit was so kind from the moment we met him at the hotel, through the tour of the monkeys- giving tips and helping us to communicate with the food suppliers to feed the cheeky monkeys along the walk. He was forthcoming in sharing sights along the drive to the waterfront dinner- which was delicious! Then on to the firefly and blue lights boat experience. A kind soul and presence for this tour and a stunning day well spent. Thank you Gamit!

I had a pleasant experience with Exotic Asia. Mr. Rahve and his companion were great guides making sure we are informed with what is about to happen, whether or not there is a delay, etc. The van we used was brand new and comfortable, making the journey stress-free. The restaurant we were taken to offered good food; too bad we had late lunch so we couldn’t finish what was served to us. Instead of sharing with strangers who joined us for the tour, me and my gf actually got served our own food on our won table. The firefly and blue tears tours were awesome! Weather is always a consideration. It rained but we saw what we came there for.

We got to see the monkeys on route before a lovely seafood meal by the riverside. When it was dark enough we went on the river boat to see the fireflies in the mangrove which was amazing.. then witnessed the blue tears in the river water.. this was a lovely experience and so unusual.. will certainly recommend this trip.

From pick up to drop off this was an amazing service. We booked last minute and Rahve was quick to reach out to us and set a pick up time, he arrived early in a well kept vehicle and drove us smoothly to see the monkeys and on to dinner and boat tour. He was friendly throughout and we felt really well looked after. Seafood dinner was delicious and fireflies and blue tears in the river were simply amazing. A great evening and thank you Rahve, we had a great time!!
