Nico the captain was great! The excursion and sites were spot on and he had lots of knowledge. His music kept us entertained along with a cocktail & wonderful dessert near the end. Don't hesitate to book Nico!

Great boat adventure aboard Carmy!
Great boat adventure aboard Carmy! Gary_S, Oct 2026 The boat is great. Very stable. Tracks well and handles well under any sea condition. The seating is comfortable and well padded. Nico is a great captain! Very friendly and knowledgeable with a great personality. He's also a scuba diver and chef. He serves a great Tiramisu at the end of the adventure.

Absolutely fantastic!!! We loved our time on this boat and Nico is an amazing captain! We felt safe and comfortable. We swam, had an aperitif and went into caves! It was splendid!! Highly recommend!!

An Unforgettable Sea Caves Tour Aboard the Carmy with Captain Nico
We took an absolutely unforgettable and amazing two-hour sea caves boat tour along the stunning Polignano a Mare coast, and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Polignano! We boarded the boat Carmy at the San Vito port and were impressed by how super clean and thoroughly wiped down the boat was for our group. Our captain, Nico, was wonderful, personable, and engaging—a great conversationalist who was incredibly knowledgeable about the sea caves and coastline, perfectly enhancing our journey with great music and fun and interesting local stories and legends. You can also clearly sense his love for what he does and his passion for the sea and this beautiful place, as he shared with us that he is a scuba diver and showed us pictures that he has taken exploring the area. We even learned that his boat, Carmy, is beautifully named in honor of his grandmother! To add to an already fantastic tour, we had plenty of time to enjoy the crystal-clear blue waters of the Adriatic Sea, where we actually got to swim into and through a cave, and from one part of it, we got a good view of the famous Ristorante Grotta Palazzese above us. To top it all off, we were then treated to traditional Taralli snacks and a great choice of drinks, followed by an amazing surprise: Nico, who also happens to be a talented pastry chef, treated us to an incredible and very delicious tiramisu that he made himself! If you are looking for a fantastic boat tour of the beautiful Polignano a Mare coast with an aperitif & a surprise tiramisu, and of course an exceptional Captain, we highly recommend Nico and his beloved boat, the Carmy!
