Great tour with engaging guide - highly recommend
Dee, our guide, was knowledgeable with a clear love of the Shakespeare and theatre. We loved the way she wove quotes from the plays into the tour. As two Londoners who are interested in history, we discovered some new information and places.
Highly recommend!

A scholar's knowledge and an actor's sensibility
This was a great experience--Darrie did a wonderful job bringing my family and me on an informative and entertaining journey into the world of Shakespeare and his theaters, with a scholar's knowledge and an actor's sensibility. She was also kind enough to accommodate us even during a weekday, and even though the tour isn't typically designed for an eight year old, she was willing to bring my son along for the ride. This tour involves a LOT of rapid walking--my shoes and leg muscles had plenty of wear and tear the next day!--but so long as you're prepared for that, you'll have a wonderful time on this tour. Highly recommended!
