See the perfect sunset over the Gulf right from your seat. We take a leisurely cruise through the residential canals, where you get to see the homes and the mansions. We always see dolphins too! Our small-group tour leaves one hour before sunset, 7 days a week.
All of our rides are semi-private, with a maximum of 6 persons per boat, so you get to avoid the crowds when you ride with us. Our boats are all Social-Distance compliant.

I hate to leave a 1 star...
I hate to leave a 1 star review, but our trip was canceled due to “weather”. There was no rain in the forecast and it ended up being the most beautiful night. We were just really disappointed and I wish I could give a better review, but it felt like it was canceled due to not having max capacity for the boat and that it “wasn’t worth it” for them to go through with our visit.

Wow those are some ridiculous assumptions. A Saturday night... you really think our boats weren't full? Do you realize how painful it was for a small business to cancel for weather and issue hundreds of dollars of refunds. For you to leave us this ungrateful review?
There were lightning storms all around, and the other passengers on that tour were already apprehensive and questioning the risk of going out. Safety is our priority, as is the comfort of our passengers. Yes the weather cleared at the last minute. Give the weather service the one-star review. We're a small business trying to survive in an adverse economy. Next book with another company that wont care about your safety.
By the way.... we'll give *you* a 1-star review for being a terrible customer.

It was ok
The marina was a little difficult to locate, as it's tucked behind a hotel and restaurant, but once we found it, it felt like a safe and well-maintained location. One thing to note is that the nearby stores were closed, so there wasn't an opportunity to grab snacks or drinks before departure.
The boat ride itself was comfortable and practical, though it wasn't particularly memorable or scenic. On the positive side, we had the boat entirely to ourselves, which made for a quiet and private experience. Overall, it was a pleasant outing, but it didn't quite deliver a standout experience
Operator response
There are a multitude of signs guiding our guest through the marina. Not sure why you had trouble following all the red arrows to where the boats are. And the 7-Eleven at the marina is open 24 hours. I guess you couldn't find that either. And a private boat and sunset wasn't scenic for you? Wow.

Must Do the Sunset Cruise
We had a lovely evening with Troy. He was funny, knowledgeable and we felt safe in the boat. We enjoyed our trip very much.

Troy was a wonderful captain. We witnessed dozens of dolphins, and had spectacular views. Very peaceful trip, I would absolutely do it again.

An absolutely perfect sunset cruise!
Capt. David was fantastic—incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and went out of his way to make the entire experience special for us. The highlights of the trip were definitely the breathtaking sunset views and getting to see dolphins up close!
If you're looking for a memorable time out on the water, I highly recommend Island Ferry. We will absolutely be booking with them again!

Amazing Sunset Tour!!
Troy was our captain and he provided an fantastic, informative tour of the area. We saw dolphins, manatees, a shark and all kinds of birds. The view of the sunset was spectacular. Highly recommend.

Great time on the water
We have done the Shell Island tour with Island Ferry of St. Pete several times and it has always been great! This was the first time using this company for the sunset cruise and it will not disappoint. Our Captain, Troy did a great job, and we were lucky enough to have a perfect night, calm water and a beautiful sunset.
