Take the time to stop at the Jordan Pond restaurant and have a Popover before you hike around the pond. You’ll have plenty of time to explore on the bike as well as stop to do the hike and grab a bite to eat.
We had a blast. Someone should redo the Carriage Trails map so the signs make sense as to where they lead. 🤣🤣🤣
This was an awesome experience. A very informative and thorough explanation as an introduction and then we were off to explore … 5 hours later and almost 40 miles. We had a great time and will do it again next year. The company was great to deal with, we changed our reservation due to the possibility of rain and they were extremely accommodating.
Best way to see the park! Great e-bike orientation. Best bikes in the park. Plenty of time and battery to see everything.
Island Tour E-Bikes was absolutely excellent! From start to finish, the experience was amazing. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made everything so smooth and enjoyable. Especially Wilton, who booked our group even after hours, answered all our questions and was on site first thing in the morning to provide our group a demonstration on how to operate the bikes. Exploring Acadia on the e-bikes was such a fun way to see the park—we got to experience so much while enjoying the beautiful scenery. The bikes were in great condition, and everything was organized perfectly. I would highly recommend Island Tour E-Bikes to anyone visiting Acadia. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! 🚲🌲❤️
Very good and highly recommended activity in the park. Cannondale e-bikes, very manageable and super maintained, well explained and easy to use. I would do it again.
We rented four bikes and they worked great for the first 1/2 of our day. But one didn’t work the last half of the day so we had to quit our ride early.
The self-guided ebike experience in Acadia National Park was so much fun. The carriage roads are well groomed and maintained and provide ample room for people to bike at a leisurely or athletic pace. There are several points to pull off the path for short hikes or beautiful views. This was an excellent activity that can be done by all ages.
Great time. Merle was a little long-winded in his safety briefing. Nice guy but he could’ve made it a little shorter. Bikes were great, trails amazing, highly recommend.
Make others aware that you are passing on their left. Being silent causes an element of surprise when passing and possibly cause an accident.
