Secret Single Track MTB Adventure

Fantastic day on the bike. Top part in the jungle was excellent natural single track, good flow and some challenging technical sections. The lower part through rice paddies and villages was a lot easier but such a great way to see Bali life and the scenery away from the beaten path. Guide was great and bikes spot on. They also do easier more family oriented rides.

The best way to see Bali. Where else can you test your skills through a dense jungle full of roots and drops, loose yourself in secret single tracks through bamboo hillsides, villages and rice paddies . Immaculate Polygon bikes provided with helmets and spd shoes if required. Experienced guide who goes above and beyond to give you the best experience possible.

Apologies if duplicated. This was my fourth ride with Infinity and my second time riding the SST. Yet again Infinity did an amazing job with a good quality bike that was well maintained, the support team was tops and the lunch was lovely. The SST is a great blend of challenging downhill with some super nice flow coupled with some amazing scenery and super laid back transit through village and rural areas. Highly recommended.

This was my second ride with Infinity MTB. My first was the Mt Batur to Ubud Offroad which was almost too easy to be called a mountain bike ride. In contrast the Secret Single Track was much more challenging and interesting ride. Infinity is well organised, the guides were friendly and knowledgeable. Overall it can be highly recommended.

Well I do MTB in regularly the UK so I went for the advanced option! - I guess I am more of a trail rider and I am 48 so the initial downhill thru forest was possibly a bit much for me - too many technical gnarly tree roots however Mr Rudy was very patient and it was only about 10 minutes of stuff which was above my ability levels. After that it was fine - we did 45k so a bit achy at the end but loved it (nearly every minute!) - stopped for snacks by a mountain mosque then a great lunch about 3/4 of the way down - highly recommended

I actually booked the first ride which was the "Mt Batur to Ubud" Soft Adventure for my young family of five. It was great and a good opportunity for the kids to see the real Bali, a fantastic experience. Our guide for this ride was Rudy whom was really knowledgeable and patient with the kids. The second ride we choose was the "Secret Single Track" Advanced for a smaller group of three. Defiantly more challenging with a technical downhill stage, cross country stage and the final road stage through some of the most beautiful country side in Bali. Again, I requested Rudy as our lead rider whom was great and really encouraged us through this more advanced ride. The booking process was a pleasant experience with a number of payment options, great web site and many rides available, the bikes are the best I have used overseas with many variations of types and sizes available. I would highly recommend Infinity Mountain Biking and especially Rudy our guide and lead rider, a really great guy.

I first communicated with Infinity through their on-line chat. Response was very quick. Although they did not have an advanced ride planned on the only day I was available, they opened a new one. On the day of the ride, after picking up another rider and our guide, Suandi, we headed towards the mountains. Bikes were 29in Polygon trail with single ring XT derailleur. The bike was clean, in good condition and tuning was perfect. I asked and the bike came equipped with SPD Shimano pedals. I brought my own shoes. I have rented bikes in different countries in the past and Infinity is the only rental bike company I know of that asks which way you want your break levers set-up (front break right or left). The Secret Single track is a little challenging at the start when you ride through the forest with some roots and small drops. Remaining 2/3 is flat through the countryside.

We were picked up and dropped at our hotel by a nice friendly driver (Putu). Dropped at the top of the mountain with our guide Rudy. The bikes were pretty new Giant Trance which were good for the conditions. Ride was pretty varied from single track in the forest, dirt / metal road, road and rice field tracks. Really good fun with a few technical bits thrown in. Too much uphill for my personal liking but I'm lazy and just love to bomb it down hill ;-) Definitely recommend them!
