Description
We collect our guests at their accommodation in Swakopmund and along the coast to Walvis bay. We Transfer you for FREE. We include a light lunch and drinks on both tours. We use new modern unsinkable Kayaks easy for anybody to use and that can not capsize. Everybody gets a life jacket and the guide will coach you on the use of the Kayak. No previous experience required. Then we drive to the most memorable Dune Tour and your Namibia Highlight. We go where dune meets sea, harsh and desolate area constantly changing, yet quiet and relaxing, see amazing wild life, and thousand's of sea Birds. We go up towering Dunes, to the most beautiful view points, exciting dune drives with skilled and knowledgeable guides See thousands of pink Flamingos, Pelicans in the Ramsar Walvis bay Wetland . Visit the pink salt lakes of the biggest evaporation pond Salt Mine in Africa along the route and the seal colony at Pelican Point This is one of our most popular tours, family, youth and active tourists

Itinerary
We stop at the Flamingos and view the many beautiful birds at the Lagune.. We might see Pelicans and terns. The route takes us past the pink salt lakes of the huge Salt Mine and we learn how it works. We then turn north to Pelican point ;light house where the 50 000 seals colony is. We find a suitable spot to unload the Kayaks and then peddle into the Bay. The seals swim around the Kayaks, what an awesome experience. We serve some cool drinks and sandwiches once we are done .
Our journey takes us past the enormous Salt Mine harvesting 100000 tons per month, south along the beach to Sandwich Harbor where the Dune belt meets the sea . See the waves carve away the dunes at high tide where it sometimes becomes impossible to enter this beautiful and remote area. We go on a roller coaster dune ride up to the view point with absolute surprise to see the stunning views and the quiet desert ambiance. The huge sea of sand , the dunes, have that special kind of magic ...absolutely unique. Our knowledgeable guides will tell you about the desert area and skillfully drive you to the best spots. Adrenaline soaked dune drives , searching for animals in this desolate area , learn how the plants and animals have evolved to live in the desert. Absolutely Awesome , all of it. You can also come with your own car to a predetermined pick-up point and leave it there. We will drop you off again afterwards. WE ARE THE ONLY KAYAKING COMPANY THAT OFFERS FREE PICK UP. You can however drive with your car to Dolphins Coffee shop in Walvis Bay Please take note all cruise liner passengers. We stand in the port after the first gate with a Gazebo that has our logo on. Please note your guide will also stand with a name board. please note all Cruise Liner passengers, your tour pick up time starts an hour after you have docked. The tour will depart latest an hour and a half after the pick up time. Late comers are considered a no show

Kayaking among seals and Sand dune meet the ocean
We had a great time. It was fun kayaking among so many seals, Stephan is a wonderful guide, he took time to show us every kind of animal which are at pelican point and sandwich Harbor.

Tour with Volker
We did the tour with Volker and we couldn’t be more satisfied with it. From a professional perspective, he was very knowledgeable and made the experience fun and engaging. However, what I was more “struck with”, was on a personal level, as we had a chance to talk. Volker is a kind hearted and gentle soul, one of those people with a story to tell.

Great fun with seals and in dunes

Absolutely recommended. A must-do.
Our guide for the day was LucClue. He picked us up promptly at 8 o'clock at our accommodation in Swakopmund. On the drive to PelicanPoint, as well as for the rest of the day, he provided us with a lot of exciting information about Swakopmund, WalvisBay, the salt production facilities, the seals, and SandwichHarbour. The kayaking with the seals was brilliant. We could have spent the whole day there. You get totally close to the curious animals. Unfortunately, we had to head back after 45 minutes. After a brunch with sandwiches on the beach, we continued on to SandwichHarbour. A fast-paced ride along the coast, up and down the dunes. Since we were out during midday, we were all alone and not traveling with dozens of other vehicles. That made the experience even more unique. Alone in the endless dune landscape. After lunch, we headed back. Around 4 p.m., the great excursion came to an end. A wonderful day with many impressions!

Wonderful day!
We had a wonderful day with Le Clue and Volker. Both of them are very experienced guides, who could answer any of our questions, which was great. The Highlight was the Kayaking with the seals. You should bring towels and changing clothes. Everything was great and the guides deserved us a wonderful day! Highly recommended!
