The View

It’s an amazing view to see 360 of Boston. They had beautiful displays of faux flowers. The Bar wasn’t open till 3 so if you’re looking to spend all day there for drinks and view then it’s worth it. If you are a local I think it’s boring and not worth the money. There was a slight annoyance we bumped into while there … When you walk in they have you pose for pics this way if you want to purchase it later at the gift shop you can. As we were exiting the gift shop. We were stopped by one of the employees who seems a bit rude. She was making multiple shocked and rude faces because we didn’t give her our QR code to see our pics. It was a weird and uncomfortable moment for us. Other than that this place was ok.

Unique views of the city, at a price

We were in town for a long weekend and decided to do this experience. It's expensive for what it is, for sure, but it's a unique experience that you can't get elsewhere. There's a bar on the roof, and the drinks were good. The views are spectacular, so if you're new to Boston, it's a great way to see the city. Give it a shot, but know that it's probably not going to feel worth the money. Even the flower exhibit they advertised was pretty minimal effort.

Not like previous years

Wasn’t very crowded when we went, but disappointed to see the restaurant is closed to reservations and only available for events. The bar also closed at 5pm, which was not convenient for patrons that booked a ticket. The artificial flower display was realistic and beautiful backdrop. The views of the city is really what we go for. Love the new interactive maps.

Parents aren’t watching their kids

The observatory was great however we didn’t get into the roof top bar to experience the sights due to a private event. Very sad to not have the total experience. Also there were a lot of kids running around disrupting pictures and the romantic vibe. Parents and security were not doing their job. The parents were too busy taking selfies & not watching their kids. I didn’t know I was buying into a playground area.

Great views!

Great views! We timed our trip so we could watch the sunset but, unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate! Don't forget to go the floor below and walk around the outside deck. The lighting display of the city is great too! Just a fyi- I don't if it was just a one time glitch or if is is standard but their scanner cannot read the qr code on the Viator tickets. You will need the pdf that is also sent to you.

Amazing Views of Boston — Even Better Solo!

Absolutely worth experiencing! I went solo and had a great time exploring at my own pace. The views of Boston were incredible, especially seeing the city from so high up. There were plenty of opportunities for photos, and I never felt awkward being there alone. I would definitely recommend View Boston to both visitors and locals who want to experience the city from a completely different perspective.

A Observation Deck

Similar to One World Observatory in NYC with a better view, you can see the full view of Boston in here, there are several levels and there is one level you can walkout and high glass walls surrounded to ensure safety and with a bar there. There was also a light model area show which is interesting. They used modern X-Ray walk through detectors for everyone to enter pass by and the intention seems make it less visible so that visitors may not realize them at least right away, but this new technology only looks nice but actually less visitors friendly than the traditional airport detectors as contain detect errors, turned on cellular phones etc. will triggered alarms at no reason and traditional detectors generally will not have those problems, so the latest tech may be very stylish but lack of smart detection and accuracy, as such may cause inconvenience to the visitors. Everyone welcomes safety check but the equipment needs to be accurate. This observatory looks very safe as security patrol walk on the levels, plus detectors at the entrance, the security level setting seems even higher than One World Observatory.
