Scenic Sedona Tour

Great morning with Sheldon. He started by asking about our specific wants and outcomes of our tour so he could shape it appropriately. We toured the urban and non-urban parts of Sedona. Sheldon was very knowledgeable not only about the history and various sites, but how to time our arrivals so we wouldn't be waiting in huge crowds. Highly recommend as a great overview and way to get acquainted with the area.

I was short on time so I booked a tour with Scenic Sedona Tours on July 17 based on reviews with Trip Advisor. On their website the tour company listed 14 locations which we would visit on a best effort basis. The tour guide left 15 minutes late. Gave us an extended lunch break and ended the tour 75 minutes early. For this reason, we visited only 5 of the 14 attractions. When I questioned the tour guide, he was angry and nasty and emphasized that visiting those attractions was on a best effort basis. He wasted at least 90 minutes by starting late, extended lunch and ending the tour exceptionally early. How is taking 90 minutes of tour time away from us a best effort basis. I contacted Scenic Sedona Tours three times about this matter and they never answered at all. While I did enjoy what I saw, I did not get what I paid for except horrible customer service. My opinion, everything in Sedona is close and easy to navigate so tour the area yourself.

Miguel was our tour guide for our Grand Canyon tour with Scenic Sedona Tours, and he was exceptional from beginning to end. Even while gathering everyone to board the bus, he was personable, friendly, and immediately made the group feel welcome. Miguel told us that he has been a tour guide for more than 24 years, and his experience certainly showed. As we passed numerous landmarks on the way to the Grand Canyon, he pointed out interesting locations and shared an incredible amount of information. He engaged the entire group in conversation and answered nearly every question asked. We truly felt that we were in excellent hands throughout the entire tour. His knowledge of the area and the various Native American tribes was remarkable. He also appeared to be very familiar with their native languages. Throughout the day, Miguel showed us some of the best locations for sightseeing and picture-taking and constantly offered to take photos for anyone in the group. He went far above and beyond when one member of our group misunderstood the meeting location and became separated from us. Miguel parked the vehicle and personally ran around searching until he found the individual and safely walked him back to the bus. My wife and I highly recommend Scenic Sedona Tours, and we especially recommend Miguel. We have taken numerous guided tours over the years, and Miguel was easily one of the best tour guides we have ever had. His knowledge, personality, professionalism, and genuine concern for everyone in the group made this an outstanding experience.

We only had one full day in Sedona and wanted to be sure to hit the hot spots. This trip gives a great visual tour of Sedona with stops that allow for amazing views and photo ops. Our only complaint, we wish there would've been more narration during the tour. Our guide was great telling us about the stops like Airport Mesa and the Chapel, but would've like to hear more about the areas we drove through. We asked questions and were sometimes not given much of an answer.

It was a very informative tour. The driver was great and very accommodating. Beautiful morning excursion.

Chris was an amazing tour guide! We felt safe, enjoyed the experience, and the views were incredible. A must-visit in Arizona.

We opted for the 2 hour tour…the website stated: Highlights Included ✅Thunder Mountain ❌Cathedral Rock Filming Locations (talked about this - nothing to see) ❌Boynton Canyon ❌Coffee Pot Rock ❌Famous Energy Vortexes ❌Soldiers Pass ✅Airport Mesa ❌Medicine Wheel Unfortunately we saw 2 of these - we did have 2 stops which were nice but we did not see all that was advertised on this tour which was very disappointing. I asked our guide, Mr Clay, if we would be going to Cathedral Rock and we were told no…not with the traffic. Our tour was on Friday of Spring Break week, so there were more people in town, but I feel like the guide should have shared that we would not be going to as many places. So for the price, we were disappointed with what we did see. Lots of driving through a neighborhood to get from the first stop at Peace Park to the second stop at Airport Mesa. Not worth the money, in my opinion.

It was a good introduction to Sedona. Our guide, was knowledgeable &extremely helpful throughout the short tour.

The van was very clean and comfortable. JR our driver was very knowledgeable and witty. He was very accommodating and asked frequently if we had any questions or comments. I recommend this tour!

We toured the chapel of Holy Cross and stopped at other places like Airport vistas, and our tour guide JR was so knowledgeable of the area we were very impressed . We had 2 solo travelers that joined us so a small group of 4 made this a wonderful morning leaving us with the afternoon free . We were very glad we did this and would recommend !
