This was a great kayak tour! I had a blast and selas some great parts of Lake Tahoe! The only comment I would make is there are times the water gets a bit choppy. If you are newer to kayaking or have little experience you may be exhausted by the end.
Super group of people, as a new solo traveler made me feel safe and welcome.
Wonderful experience. Guide was knowledgeable and fun! It was great. I would highly recommend this guided tour.
Great experience! You will end up with a wet bum & feet so plan accordingly. Wear a hat & lather on the sunscreen. Ask all the questions because it makes it more interesting when there are things to learn about. Great fun!
Be ready for an arm workout with beautiful views and kind tour guides! Very informative and helpful!
This was a wonderful experience, especially for myself I do not know how to swim, so I was so nervous, but our tour hide told me it was safeand I should not worry. It is very tiring coming back. I would do it again.
It does require duration ability to paddle almost the entire time(2 hours). We felt rushed to keep up with the group which made the experience "work" rather than leisure. It was not the guides fault just that the group "mix" had different ideas of what a scenic tour meant, we felt like we were in a race to keep up. Also, we wished we were told that the pictures the guide "offered to take so we didn't drop a camara" would be pictures we had no access to. Suspecting there was perhaps a charge for them. Stop and take your own pictures along the way
Hi! The photos that our guides take are free for all guests. They usually air drop or text them to you at the end of the tour. If you remember your guides name I can reach out to see if they still that them.
Great experience for all the family. Guides were great giving information about the area. Make sure you wear a hat and have sunscreen on as on the water for over 2hrs. Kept having to stop for slower paddlers, this was super considerate but could have split the group on the way back! Also personal group photo was great but the way they were talking I thought there’d be more. Was a great activity I would go again.
Family friendly activities. Nice kayak ride. Loved the marsh. Beautiful views. A little info about the lake. Could maybe give a little more info about Lake Tahoe but it was a good tour! Guides were very friendly and nice!
This was a wonderful kayaking trip. Good for beginners as well as those with some experience on the water. The trip took us in the lake, but also the river/wetlands area that feeds into Lake Tahoe. The guides were friendly and had some knowledge of the history of the area, ecological efforts, and birds/wildlife. Perfect distance traveled. Highly recommend this trip!
