Sapporo Local Food & Bar Hopping Tour

Iku is a gem. She is so knowledgeable about Sapporo and Hokkaido! She took us to her favorite local hidden gems. We had a variety of small dishes and were introduced to different sakes. She is a native to Hokkaido but has traveled extensively, loves good food and drinks, and speaks great English! Thank you Iku for a memorable experience!

Iku is an amazing guide. Friendly and very knowledgeable on Hokkaido, food and sake. Iku taylored our experience to our needs and offered the opportunity to try local products and delicacies. It was a fun evening and a great way to see places in Sapporo that not many tourists do. It's a perfect way to spend your 1st night out.

It was a really great tour. We have visited 4 different places, of wich some where hidden gems, a normal tourist would have never noticed or even entered. So, we had a wonderful sake tasting in a dedicated sake bar and been to a small but very unique pub wich had a wide spread of local craft beers. All in all a great experience and absolutely worth it. Paul was a superb tour guide - I was his only guest and we visited three great local bars with good food and drinks - the sort of places I wouldn’t have known enough to try if I hadn’t been with him. He explained a lot about Japanese culture and passed on very useful information about local specialties. The tour was definitely one of the hightlights of my trip to Sapporo and I’d strongly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

We had an absolute blast! Our host tailored our walk around town to what we wanted to do. Got some craft beers, dined with the locals, and drank plenty of sake at a place we never would've went into if we didn't have a guide. Absolutely wonderful way to see the real Sapporo.
