After a short trip of 10 minutes it reaches the small port of Nea Kameni, where the active volcano is. Your time there is for about 1 hour and 15 minutes where you can walk up and visit this wild landscape with the different volcanic rocks and the active craters of the volcano, where there is still smoke coming out and keenly smells sulfur. To continue, the boat will depart for the island of Palaia Kameni, where the hot springs are located. Inside the small bay of Agios Nikolaos the water temperature is 30-35 degrees Celcious but it constantly mixes with seawater. The boat stays for about 30 minutes, enough time since there is no beach, but you have to climb down a ladder of the boat into the sea and swim a distance of about 30 meters to the interior of the small bay, where the mud baths are.
After swimming at the hot springs the boat will start a sail around the caldera where you can take magnificent pictures of the landscape and the houses that literally hang on the edge of the cliff , in compination with the beautiful colours of the sunset. On a wooden boat with sails , listening to nice music and enjoying a glass of local wine. After the sunset the boat returns back to the old port of Fira.

This was a great value for the money and provided some breath taking views of the island and a good mix of activities. Konstantinos was so genuine and friendly and made it such a fun tour. A terrific guide and very knowledgeable and engaging. The hike up the volcano was a good workout and offered some incredible 360 degree views. The final leg to see the sunset just off the coast of Oia was capped off with him playing his guitar and singing a few songs.
Lots of fun and informative. Hike, swimming, sunset viewing, music. Constantinos was engaging. Love the drone picture. Nice souvenir.

This whole experience was awesome! We took a shuttle to the cable car area, took the cable car down to the port and voila, we were on the boat. The boat is a little dated but still nice, the crew was great, the stops were nice and the sunset was exquisite. The captain even serenaded us during the sunset. They served us a glass of wine, water was only 1 euro and the whole experience was simply lovely for a great price! You won’t be disappointed.

It was really fun to climb the volcano and swim in the mineral waters before watching magnificent sunset. The uour guide of volcano was really fun, but they really need to upgrade the boat. It wasn’t very comfortable, or well stocked, and the glass of wine they give you at the end is about the size of a shot glass. Overall, we enjoyed it. One more important thing… You need to tell people that you can’t take an Uber down to the old port to catch the boat! People need to factor in time to take the cable car down, which we did not know about and almost missed the boat!

Such a beautiful experience! It was a great group of people with an amazing crew. They were so very attentive and kept us entertained. The stops along the way; volcano, hot springs, little sea side town we stopped at were all great!!! Then to see the beautiful sunset was the perfect ending!! Highly recommend this experience.

You must take trainers and 5 Euros each to walk the volcano trail. A great tour guide who played his guitar and sang to us after the sunset. Well worth doing this tour. You change boats at the volcano trail which we didn’t expect but a lovely trip.

It was one of the best excursions we have taken. Throughout the entire trip there was chill out music on the boat and the guide explained everything to us super well, both the volcano and the small town, he was very kind. At sunset he played the guitar, and returning to the port they played super cool Spanish music!! I recommend it!!!
