Starting from our brand-new hilltop stables above Vlychada, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views over the Aegean and a calm, welcoming atmosphere. Our well-cared, gentle horses and experienced guides make this experience perfect for all levels. Ride through dramatic volcanic canyons and wind-shaped cliffs, formed by the Minoan eruption, before reaching the secluded Eros Beach. Enjoy approximately 45 minutes along the shoreline, with time for photos and unforgettable moments by the sea. After the ride, relax at our stables’ chill-out area and café, taking in the views and peaceful surroundings. A premium experience designed for comfort, beauty, and connection—with nature and your horse.

Itinerary
Ride a horse on a beautiful beach in the untouched nature in the south of the island! Starting at the stables in Megalochori, ride along the paths of the vineyards and see their traditional layout, and along the south trails that lead to the secluded Eros Beach. These paths were created by the great eruption, which formed the island. As you ride you will see small gorges and ravines carved into the volcanic rock and can marvel at the unique Santorini landscape. At the end of the route you reach Eros beach, a long black beach with impressive rock formation cliffs as a backdrop. Ride along the beach and then head to the top of the hill to enjoy the panoramic view of the beach and the trails. During the ride commemorative photos will be taken of you and your horse, capturing your memorable experiences at all the best places.

This experience was...
This experience was really fun! We were there in the morning for the 9:00 tour and the weather was really great, not too hot, not too cold, and enough wind to feel good while riding. You can ride with any level, from very beginner to advanced! The guides are really helpful and the scenery is breathtaking.

Great experience.
This was an excellent experience which allows you to see the beautiful beaches on the south of the island. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. I was a bit nervous about riding as I hadn’t ridden in a long time and the staff made sure I was comfortable. The horses were very calm and well behaved.

Save your money
It's not worth it. My partner and I just did the sunset ride on black beach and the views nice the guides are nice but it was a glorified pony ride. If you have never ever riden a horse its probably good for you and young kids. if you have some riding experience skip this one im sure you could find something better on the island not being stuck on the rope with the guide the whole time for nearly $400. We've had much better riding experiences for a lot less money.

The ride was beautiful, but the horses were skinny with their ribs and spine visible through the skin.

A great experience
The horse ride was pretty great. My wife and I were both novice riders, this was our first time on a horse and everything went pretty smoothly. The horses were well cared for, and were lovely. The guides were very kind, and took some great pictures. Great experience all the way around.

Wow! What a way to see the topography of Santorini! A beautiful family run horse stable with lovely horses. Riding a horse on the black sand beach was magical! A special thank you to Valentina for finding seashells for us! Would book this tour again 100%

Amazing, adventurous, spectacular
5 out of 5 An amazing and unforgettable experience. I rode the horse for the first time in my life and I am happy that it was exactly my first time here. I enjoyed the view, it was an adventurous experience for me and my daughter who is more advanced at riding than me. Thanks a lot!

Absolutely brilliant, would definitely recommend!!
The staff were fantastic to deal with and very accomodating with rescheduling due to delays disembarking our cruise, we can’t thank them enough! The ride itself was brilliant, they cater to all experience levels and made us feel very comfortable. The horses were very well behaved and the experience was brilliant. Cuddles with Rolex the puppy before and after the ride were definitely a highlight! Thanks guys!
