Then, uncover the eerie legends of the Horton Grand Hotel, a Victorian masterpiece said to still host a guest who never truly checked out. The Montijo Building once housed the Gray & Co. Furniture Store — an establishment known for far more than just furniture. Specializing in coffins, autopsies, and embalming, the business left behind a legacy steeped in mystery and unease. Today, visitors can learn about the building’s haunting past and the chilling stories that still echo within its walls.
A hotspot of energy and excitement, The Fluxx dazzles with its wild atmosphere and vibrant nightlife. Yet beneath the flashing lights and thumping music lies a much darker past. This building is said to hold some of the most chilling stories in all of the Gaslamp District. Guests who visit will discover the haunting history hidden behind its lively façade.

Mina was the best tour guide! She’s a great orator and had a ton of knowledge about the city even beyond the creepy stuff. My in-laws came into town so we wanted to be tourists for the day, and I have to say as a local I learned a lot.

We had a great time. The guide was wonderful and we learned a lot about the history. Had plenty of time to sit in each hotel we visited. Met a fun couple that was also on the tour.
