The road through the mountains requires a good driver, and ours was impeccable: careful driving, vehicle in perfect condition, and impeccable suspension. The transition to the boats at the pier took place without unnecessary waiting. A well-oiled organization.
Without telling lies, the 5 AM pickup was tough after a night awake, but it is the standard procedure for such an epic trip. Once we arrived at the sandbar, it was total madness: the water looks really transparent and super clean...we relaxed, recorded a thousand videos, and hung out. We had a fantastic day in general. The Natural Pool was perfect with the water at waist level and the lunch was fried chicken, it was served piping hot. I give it 4 stars simply because the shade on the island is limited and the cabanas fill up fast in the afternoon. If you have a wide-brimmed hat, make sure to bring it and also plenty of sunscreen.
In addition to the paradisiacal beaches, I should praise the meal offered on the tour. The Sea San Blas picked us up on time at the hotel and the 4x4 trip went super well. When we arrived on the island, we were served a whole fried fish prepared on time, accompanied by rice and very crisp patacones. Everything very clean, simple and tasty. A wonderful day from beginning to end!

I brought my fins but used the mask provided during the tour to explore the area around the sunken ship. The seabed of San Blas is incredibly alive, with intact coral reefs and many tropical fish, the only thing is that it is too hot on the island 🪸🐠🤍
