The highlight for me was seeing the waterfall! The whole experience was wonderful, the villagers are very friendly and the food was very tasty. I would definitely recommend this as one of the tours on visiting Panama.
I have shared an extensive review of this day trip on "Get Your Guide." Check there if you want to see my lavish praise for this fabulous experience.
Today my family and I created memories that will last a lifetime thanks to our tour guide Clement and driver Fernando. The day started early, the guys were on time at the pick up point and took great care of the group for the entire period. Clement was especially kind in ensuring that my mom was able to navigate the tricky hike to the waterfall. I enjoyed the history shared about the village and its people and the food was wonderful. I would definitely recommend to anyone who likes culture, the outdoors and would like an opportunity to have a great time while giving back to the locals/indigenous people. Thanks again guys!
This was one of the best tours I did during my solo trip to Panama. Our guide Orlando provided a wealth of knowledge, was very attentive to detail and made sure everyone in the group felt comfortable. He checked in constantly to ensure everyone was having a good time and made sure the energy and vibes were good all day. The Embera community we visited was very welcoming, the food was amazing and getting to learn about their culture and practices was eye opening but the highlight for me was the curiosity of the children. This excursion is definitely good value for money so put it at the top of your list!
This tour blew me and my family away. From start to finish, it was an incredible experience. Our tour guide Ruben was both knowledgeable and friendly, making everything easy to follow and genuinely enjoyable. We learned about the tribe and even had the opportunity to dance along with them—such a memorable and special moment. Plus, the lunch was absolutely delicious. Overall, it was a true 5-star experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable tour.
It was a wonderful tour. The lunch was great.
What a journey!! If you are looking for culture and adventure, this is for you. From pickup, Orlando displayed kindness and patience. He took care of us and ensured we had everything we needed. Our Embera guide Patriseo (sp) was extremely helpful guiding us to and along the path to the waterfall as it was very slippery with typical water shoes. I needed ones with more grip. We were able to enjoy the waterfalls before it got too crowded. My child was assisted over to the falls with Otlando's help. For an 8 year old, this was a full day of learning and play. I highly recommend this. Oh, the lunch served was absolutely delicious! We got to dance and get a small glimpse into life of the Embera people. I was honored.
This was the best tour we’ve been on in Panama, I highly recommend it. Orlando was full of energy. The experience was great, the food was great, I learned a lot, overall, everything was great. If you didn’t read it in the booking, there is a $35pp fee that is collected on the tour that goes directly to the village people.
It was a wonderful day. We enjoyed ourselves, ate well, a good mix of learning, culture, and nature! Thanks to Javier and his team and to the town that welcomed us and allowed us to get to know it!
The best experience of all my travels, the guide is so kind and caring, everything is perfect, I had a fantastic, unforgettable experience. The indigenous people are very welcoming.
