This tour is such a great experience and highly recommended for everyone visiting Panama City. Our guide, Phillippe, is amazing in explaining the indigenous culture in English and also encouraging us to use a few basic words in Embara language during our visit. I also love that he shared photos and videos of our visit to the village and extremely helpful in arranging carry-on luggages and drop off point. Just one note, the tour allow me to choose airport pickup when booking but until I reached out to the tour operator one day before that I learned I have to change the meet up point to a hotel in the city. Overall very positive experience. Bia Bua! (Thank you)
Excellent experience! The guide did an excellent job. Good food, good company. Highly recommended!
Clement was an incredible guide throughout the day. He was very attentive, enthusiastic, and helpful. He took amazing pictures, answered all of our questions, and was overall a great vibe. Would strongly recommend!
Amazing adventure on Chagres River just about an hour away from Panama City - our guide Robert was excellent
It was a lovely day visiting the Embera village. Kareem was a great guide and I love the nickname the villagers gave him, oohh la la. The villagers were very friendly and I enjoyed the lunch
Visiting the Embera Indian Tribe was at the top of my list when visiting Panama and it did not disappoint. Learning their history and seeing how how they live "off the grid" and maintain their traditions was amazing. The hike to the waterfall was also enjoyable with an amazing waterfall at the end to take a cold dip and beautiful pictures of nature. Our tour guide Clement of Enjoy Panama Tours was very knowledgeable and made the journey fun with his French..Spanish and English accents. Definitely a must do in Panama!
Our tour guide (Orlando) was amazing! He was very knowledgeable and professional. Would definitely recommend this tour to my friends and family!
This was an amazing experience! Orlando was a fantastic guide. He reached out via Whats App and we knew exactly how to prepare for our tour. He was funny, attentive, and informative. I love history so I appreciated that he told a story about the country, the people, the culture and its soul. The hike to the waterfall was about 20 min and I would not consider the hike easy, but not terribly difficult. Just pay attention and take your time. The entire tour from start to finish was about 7 hours, but it did not feel like 7 hours. The Embera tribe are special. A warm welcome, delicious food, traditional dance, henna tattoos, day & life of the tribe and an opportunity to purchase handmade keepsakes. Even with the rain at the end, it was fantastic. We have 3 more days in Panama and I don't believe we'll top this.
OMG! This tour was so amazing. Clement and Javier were just the ray of sunshine we needed on this rainy day. They went above all expectations. Very knowledgeable and patient and helpful. They addressed all our questions. They had us all feel like family and kept us laughing and safe. The information regarding the indigenous tribe was well received. The food and presentation was top shelf. I would definitely recommend this tour to all.
A unique experience, sharing with the Emberas in their village is a marvel, their children, their hospitality, everything has been special including the guides.
