Take a day trip to the home town of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart on a guided full-day rail tour from Munich to Salzburg. Considered one of the jewels in the crown of Europe, the city of Salzburg has been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site, framed by the majestic backdrop of the snow-capped Alps and famed for its old-world glamour.

Our tour office is the meeting point for the tour in Munich.
After a 2 hour beautiful journey to Salzburg by train, we will start our 1,5 hour city walking tour of the historical center of Salzburg.
Here the city tour will conclude and you will have three hours of free time for further exploration!
The tour will return to Munich to our office.

We met our tour guide Elisabeth at the Munich office. Elizabeth was extremely informative, very passionate and professional with the tour. She ensured everyone understood the expectations for the day as well as making sure we were all capable of finding our way if we got separated however that was not necessary. She controlled the tour very well and also ensured we had our free time to explore for ourselves. She really made the trip quite memorable. Thanks Elisabeth, Salzburg is the polar opposite of Perth, Western Australia.
The day trip to Salzburg was awesome! Elisabeth was a fantastic tour guide! There was a great amount of information and history provided. The tour group was about 19 but I think it can go to 25. We had an hour long tour of some main spots and then we were able to free roam for 3 hours and pick our own activities. I wish we had another hour or two to visit some of the other things there like the castle but it will have to be saved for a future trip!
ELIZABETH our guide was amazing. Very informative about trip , the area, trains/bus. She has a sparkling personality and loves her job! Saltzberg is beautiful and I wished I had more time. Great day and the predicted rains held off. Highly recommend this trip and our guide ELIZABETH

The tour was great and made better by Christian. He was very nice and helpful. He stopped frequently to make sure everyone was together and gave good insight into the area and the main sights around.
