Sal Island: 4H Buggy Adventure Coast-to-Coast - 1000cc

Impressive, one of the best excursions of my life. Excellent treatment from the guide, Rafa, a route that is very much worth it.

Picked up from hotel on time(ish) but in all reality we could have walked it in 10 mins to tour. Usual safety chat,and a boiler suit fitting.NOT IDEAL for a 30c heat.Also a helmet and goggles which all day really didnt fit over my glasses.The tour is run mostly over dirt tracks,which although the buggies have lights on,you will struggle to see where and what you are following.Various stops along the way.You are given a bottle of water,but that will heat up quick aa basically you are sitting in front of the engine.Watch out for the washboard part.That will shake your fillings out!.All in all,its not a bad trip/4 hours,but lets loose the boiler suits/helmets

Excellent experience. The guides are very kind and speak English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian. The tour lasted 4 hours and was full of adrenaline. Anyone can drive, without fear, also because at the head of the group there is always one of the guides who maintains the speed and leads the way. At every stop they asked us if everything was okay and checked our vehicle to make sure everything was in order. Absolutely recommended if you come to Santa Maria.

Really good 4 hour tour around the whole island of Sal, 95% off-road. Buggies were fast and rugged enough for the terrain, and despite a couple of mechanical issues we all had a great time.

It was a great excursion!! We had doubts about going with a 5-year-old child, but honestly, by taking the family buggy, we had a great time!! They adapt to all driving levels, and we want to highlight the guides Nilson, who gave us all the information and explanations, and Raphael, who with his quad made me (the driver) feel like a little kid!! THANKS A MILLION TO EVERYONE, YOU ARE FANTASTIC!!

Genuinely fantastic value for money. Great team and guides. Amazing vehicles. Amazing island and scenery but be warned, absolutely brutal dusty moonscape too, be prepared. If you are not confident enough, or brave enough to drive off-road at their pace, let somebody who is do the driving.

We had Freddie as our guide for the day. He was absolutely brilliant, had a great sense of humour and was so pleasant to be around. He was very knowledgable in regard to educating us on the island and communicated this efficiently. We had a brilliant time and this made our holiday. Thank you so much.

Fantastic 4-hour buggy ride! We were with 3 people in a 4-person buggy and enjoyed it enormously. A special thanks to our guides Patrick and Nielson. They were extremely professional, constantly paying close attention to safety and making everyone feel comfortable. Their enthusiasm was contagious, and they were particularly concerned about our 9-year-old son, which made him feel really special. An unforgettable experience that we can recommend to everyone!

We had an extraordinary time as a family, where young and old set off to discover wild beaches, a fishing village, the salt sea, deserts (with mirages), a kitesurfing spot, and not forgetting the lemon sharks… We were also able to try our hand at "driving," in Rally Raid mode, behind the wheel of a very high-performance 1000cc 4-seater buggy. But all this would never have been as perfect without our guide Patrick, who speaks perfect French, and who tells the history of his country with passion. Thank you Patrick!
