Sailboat Excursion Taormina
The directions to the meeting point and parking could have been simpler and more specific. A specific landmark such as Angelina’s restaurant would have been helpful. Unfortunately, after taking the dinghy to our sailboat, the sailboat motor belt broke and we had to go back to shore. Lulu was very kind and tried to accommodate as best as she could considering the circumstances.

They cancelled on my family of 7 last minute when we were at the meeting point....
We booked this excursion about 1 month in advance. After booking and paying for this excursion for the 9am departure, we were contacted by the company to change our departure time to 12:45pm as apparently the 9am departure was already booked and we should not have been able to book it. That was not a problem for us and we were happy to delay our departure time to 12:45pm.
We were contacted again by the company a few days before the excursion and then again the morning of the excursion to confirm, which we did. We arrived at the meeting point where we were supposed to meet the skipper for the boat and waited for 30 minutes before deciding to contact the company to inquire about why the skipper had not arrived yet. They informed us that the skipper was there and was actively searching for our group of 7 (they confirmed we were in the right meeting point, and I can tell you there was absolutely no one that matched their description that was there searching for our group, so this was obviously a lie). We got off the phone and a few minutes later, they called me back and advised me that the skipper had not informed them that she was sick until right then in that moment, and unfortunately they had to cancel the excursion. This was after we took a 50 euro taxi to get to the meeting location in another city than where we were staying, with my family of 7 which includes my grandparents of 86 and 88 years old.
They apologized and I understand that the skipper being a no-show was unexpected and not in their control, but this was a major inconvenience to my family of 7, we were out 50 euros, and then had to take another taxi to get back to where we were staying, and this was a 2 hour chunk out of our day during our vacation.
After discussing with the company, they did offer me a free boat tour the next day and a full refund for the cancelled excursion, but I had zero faith that something like this wouldn't happen again, and did not want to waste another few hours or more money to go through the same thing. We accepted the full refund and asked if there was any possibility of them compensating us for the 50 euro taxi we took to get there, and they replied by asking for our bank info, and then stopped replying all together. We were not compensated for our wasted time or money for the taxi. We received the full refund for the cancelled excursion at least, but the whole experience and the extreme last minute cancellation left me feeling very disappointed and frustrated.
Ultimately, I know things happen with employees that can be outside of a company's control, but I have completely lost my trust in booking online excursions as this is my third experience like this. If I were you, I would book in person when you are at the location. There are plenty of options for excursions in person when you arrive, but I personally would avoid this specific company as they are unreliable.

Sailboat Cruise
What a great time. Lulu our captain was awesome. She pointed out lots of sites and was very knowledgeable. She was also very flexible with our time. Allowed us to swim a little longer in one location than the other. Great way to start your day

Great Afternoon On The Water
We had an amazing afternoon on the water near Naxos and Taormina. Lulu is very nice. She is very knowledgeable about the area and had lots of interesting facts to share. We swam at a couple of spots and had lunch and wine on the boat. I would definitely recommend this sailing tour.

Boat day from Giardini Naxos
We had a great little boat trip! It was nice to see parts of the island from out at sea. We saw Isola Bella and Mazzaro Bay. And we had a couple swim stops. And then a small snack and some local wine made my the owner of the boat. Lulu, our guide and captain was great!

Boat tour in the bay of Taormina
Tour of about three hours with two swimming stops of about half an hour each (at Isola Bella and in front of the beaches of Giardini Naxos). Friendly and knowledgeable skipper, he gave us information about the places visited and their history. A snack on board was also provided (quality could be improved)

Lulu was amazing!
It was a wonderful day! Lulu was amazing. Great at pointing out all the things we were seeing. There were absolutely no negatives including having to pick up some folks who accidentally got on the wrong boat! She made it seamless. Just another part of the fun.
