DO NOT USE AMIGO TOURS - they take your money for services they haven't delivered
DO NOT BOOK TO VISIT SAGRADA FAMILIA THROUGH AMIGO TOURS.
They ripped us off by $100. We booked a guided tour via Trip Advisor (and Viator) which included the option of going up the towers but we were unable to use that part of the tour because of bad weather. Instead, we received an identical tour to those without the tower option, who paid $132 less than we did and Amigo tours refused to refund the difference. The guide did not even tell us the towers were closed until we asked why he said we were finished, and said "speak to the tour company" who has ignored us. It's unfortunate the weather impacted our visit, but they still took our money for something we didn't receive. Trip Advisor and Viator have also done nothing.

Our 8:45 tour👍
Our guide, Roger, was quite knowledgeable and pointed out so many interesting details details we would have missed had we been self-guided. Did not do the tower add on, but not there’s an elevator.
But, do not miss the densely-guided crypt tour that traces history, construction and much more.

Engaging & informative tour
Absolutely loved our tour with Adria (I think this is his name - the one that’s getting his PhD in International Relations)! So informative, so engaging, and you can tell he genuinely loved sharing what he knows about the church. My only complaint is that I wish it was longer because he was such a great guide!

Tower
The Pope was in town so our tower tour was canceled. We were assured we’d get a full refund for both our tickets but only received a partial refund for one of the tickets and a full for the other. We didn’t cancel the tower tour. It was beyond our control. I reached out to the tour operator and Viator but no answer.

10/10 Sagrada Família Tour
Our tour was AMAZING!!!! Marta is such a wonderful guide, and she explains everything extremely well. The tour lasted about 2 hours from meet point to saying goodbye, but it didn't feel too long. Her explanations were thorough, but engaging. There are SO many little details and symbolism that I never would have learned without her expertise. Overall, I am super happy I booked my tour and had the pleasure of meeting Marta.

Guide great, tour group too big, meeting place far from venue
Guide was great, just not well supported by the structure of the tour: meeting place was on a street corner, where a large group gathered and impeded pedestrians, and where we waited without shelter in the hot sun; tour group huge- 26-30 people- and we had to walk to the venue, difficult for some in our group with mobility differences to keep up. I expected a smaller group and better experience for the price we paid.
