The lodges were also top-notch, offering warm and authentic hospitality, and the food was truly excellent everywhere. We spent the last two days at the beach on Mafia Island, in its splendid marine park: a fantastic finale, amid crystal-clear waters and pristine nature that perfectly complements the safari experience. I recommend this trip to anyone dreaming of an unforgettable African adventure: Tanzania has captured our hearts!"

The Safari was organized with competence and managed with professionalism. Our guide/driver Isaack proved to be very well-prepared, fluent in Italian, and an extraordinary driver. The only note to point out is the management of lunch meals: they did not always arrive hot. In my opinion, the box lunch solution is preferable to that of the meal kept in thermal containers.

My wife and I had a fulfilling and wonderful first trip to Africa, which was largely attributed to our travel agency, Savannah Explorers. First, we would like to thank our travel consultant, Agustin. We had originally planned this trip with my brother, but due to personal reasons, my wife and I had to postpone our departure. Agustin handled everything quickly and efficiently, including rescheduling our hotels and camps, arranging our guide, and changing our domestic flights. Thanks to his professionalism, our financial losses were kept to an absolute minimum. It's worth mentioning that Agustin's responses via either WhatsApp or WeChat were always timely, so for any travelers from China, there’s absolutely no need to worry about communication. At the same time, we would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to our guide, Gerald or Gerry. Agustin ensured that our journey got off to a smooth start, while the time we spent with Gerry made our safari full of surprises and unforgettable moments. Gerry is calm, reliable, and always able to handle every situation perfectly. He also has a great sense of humor, and throughout the trip my wife and I learned so much about Africa, wildlife and nature while sharing countless laughs with him. More importantly, Gerry is incredibly dedicated and professional. Even his spacious vehicle was kept spotlessly clean every single day, which speaks volumes about his attitude toward his work. At the beginning of our journey, we drove from Arusha to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Because we had added an extra activity to our itinerary, we entered the conservation area quite late in the day. Even after such a long drive, Gerry remained completely focused. Just before we reached our lodge, he suddenly spotted a leopard! What an incredible surprise. We watched in complete silence as it marked its territory and strolled gracefully through the grass. That magical encounter is a memory we will never forget. Later, we arrived in the Serengeti as planned. After several days of game drives, we had seen an incredible variety of wildlife, but we still had two small wishes—I’m sure every safari traveler experiences this feeling of being both satisfied and still hoping for just a little more! One was to see a black rhino up close, and the other was to see another leopard during the daytime. My wife and I knew that Serengeti can be generous one moment and elusive the next. Wildlife sightings depend not only on a guide’s experience but also on a bit of luck, so we never even mentioned these wishes to Gerry. One afternoon, we were about to finish a relatively quiet game drive when the radio suddenly came alive with excited voices. Gerry picked up the radio, exchanged a few words, then turned to us with a smile and said, “Guys, let’s go see the rhinos.” What followed felt just like a scene from Fast & Furious. Gerry took off across the Serengeti and, as if he had a built-in GPS, confidently followed the network of unmarked tracks and led us straight to the rhinos. We finally saw three black rhinos at close range! After cheering and exchanging high-fives, we started heading back to the lodge. What happened next was almost unbelievable. Just before we arrived at the lodge, it felt as though time had rewound itself. Gerry received another radio call. Once again, he made a U-turn without hesitation and sped off across the plains. My wife and I couldn’t contain our excitement because this time, the star of this show was a leopard! Without a doubt, that afternoon became the most unforgettable moment of our entire trip. As Gerry said to us, “Every day is a lucky day.” Thank you, our friend Gerry. Your professionalism, thoughtfulness, and exceptional guiding made every single day of our safari feel incredibly lucky. The safari was a truly unforgettable experience. The organization was impeccable, our guide Maurizio was extremely knowledgeable and passionate, and he allowed us to observe the animals in their natural habitat in full respect of nature. We were lucky enough to see numerous species, including elephants, lions, giraffes, and zebras, experiencing exciting moments that we will always carry in our hearts. The accommodation was also excellent: comfortable, surrounded by nature, and with staff who were always helpful and friendly. Every day was well-planned and full of unique experiences, between breathtaking views and spectacular sunsets.
