Thank you to our guide Anh for an AMAZING day! This was a great experience cycling to a local market, rice fields, and visiting an organic farm where we toured (fed goats and ducks) and did a cooking class. It was the most fun day I had during my time in hoi an.
We had a really enjoyable tour with Trang. We took a leasurely cycle through the rural areas of Hoi An, met local families and tried local food. I am not a confident cook but the cooking class was made really simple, and we got to eat all our creations at the end which was super filling. A nice relaxing river trip on the basket boats topped off a lovely afternoon.
Kun was our tour guide for the day and she was AMAZING!! She was super helpful, knowledgeable, easy to talk to, answered all our questions and I had a lot while touring the organic vegetable garden aside from the actual cooking I loved exploring the variety of herbs, veggies and plants in the garden for culinary and medicinal purposes. Having children that needed a cushion on the back to ride with the adults we weren't able to leave on time and waited a bit for that but got to know the couple that joined us for the day. As we were asking questions and exploring the garden we missed the rush period of the markets which was ok as we still saw what they had to offer just less busy. Cycling around the countryside was so beautiful and glad to be able to get up close with the rice fields as my kids wanted to see them and so did we. We enjoyed the river boat journey and only slightly got them to spin the boat ☺️ The cooking was SO good, I loved seeing my kids enjoy and follow along with our chef and they really enjoyed themselves. The food was delicious and really accommodating for vegan and gluten free options which was great for us. I recommend wearing clothes that are able to cover up to protect against sunburn and definitely wear a hat and sturdy shoes for the journey. My family and I would highly recommend this cooking class and if possible to ask for Kun as she was AMAZING 🤩 a last note which made my heart smile was that Kun got a birthday cake for my youngest son as it was his birthday the day we did the cooking class and it made our day that extra special and amazing. Thanks again Kun 🙏
We are a couple with two teenage boys and this tour catered to everyone’s needs and made for a very engaging and bonding experience. Khieu is a fantastic and knowledgeable guide who was great to spend time with and has a wonderful sense of humour and ability to read people’s needs. Enjoyed all aspects of the morning, but the duck feeding experience and the cooking class followed by eating were especially memorable. Highly recommend with no hesitation. Thank you to all.
Fabulous 1/2 day tour with our guide Khieu. Along with two other couples we started our cycling tour to a local market through the busy streets of Hoi An. Khieu guided us through explaining the many food sources and she purchased local fruits for us to try when we got to restaurant. Coconut boat was the next step in this adventure - whether you choose to spin or just a leisurely ride in the river was most enjoyable. Then back to the farm/restaurant/cooking class for a short stroll through the farm with our host explaining different types of herbs and garden vegs, to feeding the goats and ducks. Back to restaurant to commence the cooking class. This was superb, with a great cooking instructor we cooked a 3 course meal of ted snapper wrapped in banana leaf, aubergine and mushroom hot pot and a rice pancake. All so delicious and so glad we did this. Khieu was so knowledgeable, funny and witty and felt blessed to have her as our guide. The added bonus was that we got to share this experience 4 other budding tourists. 10/10

Kun was our tour guide in Hoi An, and she was absolutely fantastic. We did a cycling tour that included temples, pagodas, a vegetable garden, and the coconut village, and every part of it was incredible. Her knowledge of the local history and culture was amazing, and she was so friendly and engaging. She made the whole experience perfect for our young family, ensuring everyone had a great time. Even after the tour, Kun went above and beyond by recommending places to eat and other things to do around Hoi An, which made the rest of our stay even better. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and would highly recommend Kun to anyone visiting Hoi An. He truly made our day—thank you!

If you want to experience the side of Hoi An that most visitors never see, book this tour with Kun. Kun was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and her English was excellent. From the countryside bike ride to the organic herb farm, local market, basket boat ride, and cooking class, every stop felt authentic. It was obvious she knew everyone we met, and seeing how warmly the local community welcomed her made the experience even more special. When we arrived for the cooking class, the usual host was busy, so Kun offered to teach it herself. It ended up being one of my favorite parts of the day because we got to cook together, chat, and really connect. More than anything, this tour gave me a genuine glimpse into everyday life in rural Hoi An. Hearing the stories of the local people was incredibly humbling and meaningful. I’ll definitely be bringing my mom back to do this tour with Kun on my next visit. Highly recommend! ❤️
