Royal Couple Spa

Set back from the main road, the Spa is modest but well appointed. From the reception where we selected our oils, to the private treatment rooms, the staff were professional and attentive. We shared a room and our full body massages were fabulous. They checked on the pressure and also if a head massage was desired. Finished with a shower. No photos.

So relaxing and professional Balinese massage with my husbend. Staff was very friendly and the service was excellent. We were picked up from our hotel and returned back to hotel after treatment. Strong recommendation for Royal Orchid Spa.

More expensive than a lot of the other massage places in Bali. But since it was our honeymoon we booked the massage. We contacted the spa via whatsapp and the driver was very friendly and punctual. We had our feet washed, then a full body massage, followed by a scrub and moisturiser. Then showered and relaxed in a flower bath with nibbles. The venue was lovely and the staff booked and paid for a taxi as the driver was in traffic once our massage was finished.

To reference a great Australian movie… The Castle “How’s the serenity”, this would sun up our experience. It is absolutely 100% a must do for any couple. You will leave relaxed, recharged and feeling like you are floating on a cloud. You are picked up at your hotel by Royal Orchids drivers, polite, informative and attentive drivers who wish you from your hotel to the beautiful facility, we attended the Nusa Dua centre. You are welcomed by the staff and given a drink and a refrigerated towel to cool off (this is now my wife’s favourite thing, i expect we will have a fridge full of face towels in our fridge at home). The staff explain the inclusions and the pricing, for us it was $215 AUD per couple. Step 1 we were escorted to a private villa, given disposable underwear and privacy to get changed. Step 2 Foot soak and a foot scrub. Step 3 90 minute massage which was awesome, you can ask for a harder or softer massage and it was relaxing and therapeutic all in on. Step 3 Body scrub a choice of green tea or coffee, this removes all the gross things that exist on our western skin…. Step 4 Moisturiser a choice of milk or grape, we chose great, this is to rehydrate you skin… as a man it felt weird but hey the results were amazing. Step 5 You are escorted into a private bathroom, left alone as a couple where you can shower off the moisturiser and scrub. Step 6 Awaiting you is a bath with rose petals and a pot of tea, a tray of sandwiches, fruit and chocolate cake. No rush soak away whatever you need to and enjoy the company of your better half. You can then since off, dry off and get changed. I did take any photos of the treatment room or the treatment… for privacy reasons and I’m sure you don’t need to see me in disposable underwear… that would require therapy… But an Absolute Must Do…. I give 20 out of 5.
