Feel revitalised with a private sauna experience in a stone-heated sauna with views over magically lit ponds and small waterfalls. Designed for up to four people in your group, these traditional saunas are made with fragrant Japanese hinoki wood and use volcanic rocks from Finland. Your nearby cedar cold plunge tubs allow you to embrace the benefits of contrast therapy, creating an invigorating experience. Set beside the majestic Whakarewarewa Forest, this experience is perfect for experienced and new sauna-users alike.

Fantastic setting, great spot to relax
Lovely spot, very much enjoyed the shinny dip whilst we waited.
Saunas still look brand new, and loved the size of the cold plunge.
Water bottles provided in the sauna, can have a coffee whilst you wait for your session.
They have a swimwear dryer also.
Showers were a good size, but dressing area is communal.

Wonderful experience
After a couple of hours Mountain biking we love having a soak. It is a lovely setting and mostly friendly staff. I wish the water was a little cooler and that I could have a real wine glass instead of plastic after all we have a glass water bottle in our hot tub so can’t see the difference.

Lovely experience
Lovely experience in amazing surroundings inc a great beer garden, bar and bands. It’s a tad expensive relative to European hot tubs and saunas. It’s still a relatively new thing in NZ!

Fantastic experience, great value
Fabulous! Friendly staff, so welcoming, amazing spot and the sauna was brand new. I LOVED the cold plunge too, really good low temp. I was trying to get back but wasn’t able to but next time I pass i will absolutely be visiting again, maybe ill try the hot tub as well.
