After pickup, we will travel approximately 90 minutes to Setenil de las Bodegas. On arrival, you will have around 50 minutes to discover one of Andalusia’s most unique White Villages, famous for its houses built beneath huge rock formations. Stroll along its iconic Cuevas del Sol and Cuevas de la Sombra streets before continuing to Ronda, approximately 30 minutes away.
Arrive in Ronda, one of Andalusia’s most iconic towns, dramatically located above the impressive Tajo Gorge. Enjoy a guided walking tour with a local guide through the historic centre, discovering some of its most representative sights, including the Old Bridge and the area around the spectacular New Bridge. Afterwards, enjoy free time to stroll, have lunch or explore Ronda at your own pace. Additional visits depend on the option selected.
INCLUDED ONLY WITH THE THURSDAY OPTION. Visit one of Spain’s oldest and most monumental bullrings. Accompanied by a local guide, step onto the bullring and learn about the history of this iconic Ronda landmark. You will also visit the Bullfighting Museum, featuring historical exhibits, traditional costumes, artwork and pieces from Francisco de Goya’s Tauromachy series. Admission to the Bullring and Museum is included only with the Thursday option.
The New Bridge is Ronda’s most iconic landmark. Built between 1751 and 1793, it connects the historic part of the city with the newer area and rises above the spectacular Tajo Gorge, more than 100 metres deep. Enjoy its impressive views before having approximately 1 hour of free time in central Ronda to stroll, have lunch, shop or continue exploring at your own pace. The return journey takes approximately 90 minutes.
INCLUDED ONLY WITH THE SATURDAY OPTION. During our stay in Ronda, enjoy an experience at a local winery, where you will discover the area’s wine culture and visit a small museum dedicated to its history. The experience includes a tasting of 3 wines. This experience is included only with the Saturday option and is not included on Tuesdays or Thursdays.

The trip on the whole was ok. Personally I think we could have had longer in sentinel to get a coffee toilet and walk around town and view from above . Rhonda we saw the bull ring you can excuse urself from this if u want to do the walk around Rhonda gorge otherwise u wont have enough time to see the old town as well .

The trip started a little later. The bus was half an hour late and no one gave notice. But after we left, it was a fantastic trip. Our guide told us along the way what we saw and the history behind it. The Setenil de las Bodegas was absolutely fantastic. We had about 1 hour to walk around ourselves. Ronda is absolutely fantastic. Very interesting with the bullfighting arena, which is still in use, and the unique view from the famous bridge. A sight you don't easily forget. Afterwards we had some free time and could explore the city. One could have used much more time, but the trip is appropriate in length. Thanks for a completely fantastic trip.

A lot of time is spent traveling to the locations but the bus was comfortable and a nice break from the heat. There was sufficient time to explore each city on your own. Both cities were very walkable. The bullring tour was interesting.

Lovely day trip. Our guide Melana was attentive & very informative throughout the trip telling us the history & facts about our destinations along the journey. Our coach driver was very safe & professional driver & friendly. Would have liked more free time in the first destination but made the most of it. Rhonda was well worth a visit. We had two exceptional guides. We liked less the milk run to pick up several travelers along the way. The visit to Setenil is short. Quite enough if one only does the small tour proposed by the guide, but insufficient for a broader visit. Ronda is magnificent. Again, it is a visit at breakneck speed. We would have liked more time to see the old bridge. The return scheduled for 3 PM seems too early to me.

Google Maps may lead you to a business among buildings close to a major BLVD for the meeting place. The meeting place will be on the BLVD- you will see other groups gathering there. There are square concrete structures that you can sit on. There will be a gaggle of buses that show up and you will just have to check with each bus to find yours. Yeah, it's annoying. However our bus was very nice as was the tour leader who will check you in. You'll get about a 1 hour taste of the town Sentenil de las Bodegas which has a Moorish history and is visually interesting due to it being built into the rocks. Then it was off to Ronda another town that has a Roman and Moorish history. Our guided tour was in Spanish and English and gave us good views of town as well as an unexpected but very good history of bull fighting in Spain and Ronda in particular. Ronda, visually, doesn't disappoint. We are thinking about returning and spending a couple days. Overall the tour was very good.

We booked for four people. We were sent an email previous to the day of departure saying the trip was delayed by one hour and that our pickup time was changed. On the day of departure we missed the bus because of the email and the company said that they couldn’t understand why TripAdvisor had sent me that email because trip was never changed

We were the only couple that boarded in Torremolinos Centre as everyone else got on in Malaga itself. When we got to Malaga our guide Pepe informed us that as the only English speaking couple on his bus it would be best if we swapped coaches and joint his colleague Melina on her bus, which was perfect as it meant better service all round. Our new guide Melina was fantastic, very friendly and informative and happy to answer the many questions she got asked. Our first stop was the cave village of Sentenil, which was absolutely gorgeous with its whitewashed buildings built into the cliffs and pretty vines, Jacaranda trees and flowers everywhere. Next was the main event, Ronda itself. Melina gave a wonderful leisurely walk from the bus station through a beautiful park before we got to the famous bridge, bull ring and the stunning city itself. Melina pointed out things that would normally have been ‘walked past’. The walking tour continued into the Oldest part of the city across the gorge and the bridge. Melina’s knowledge still kept coming and we felt history really being brought to life. The tour was a perfect combination of walking guided tour and free time. We would certainly use the company again when we come back in August/September, this time maybe Cordoba - hopefully Melina will be our guide for this one too!
