Description
Step into an exclusive private experience inside Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore, one of Rome’s most treasured papal basilicas. This is a refined journey through sacred beauty, golden mosaics, and centuries of living history, revealed in an intimate and elegant setting. Inside, admire the breathtaking Byzantine mosaics, the magnificent Sacred Crib (Santo Presepe) — the revered relic of the Nativity — and the extraordinary Sistine Chapel of the basilica alongside the richly adorned Paolina Chapel, where art and devotion reach their peak. The experience continues with the basilica’s papal legacy, including historic tombs of popes and its deep spiritual significance today. It is also the place where Pope Francis has expressed his wish to be laid to rest, adding a powerful contemporary connection to this sacred site.
