Description
Rome becomes the crime scene in this self-guided detective game, where the clues are hidden in plain sight in the streets around you.
The case is the murder of Balthasar, and the evidence is scattered across the old centre - past the Capitoline Museum, the Roman Forum, the Pantheon and the Arch of Constantine. You decode messages, photograph what does not add up and press digital witnesses whose stories never quite line up.
Every puzzle you crack removes a name from the list of suspects. Play as a couple, bring the children along, or send two or three teams out at the same time and turn the investigation into a race - which is what makes this murder mystery game work as well for a team outing as for a day out. The last answer is waiting somewhere in the centre of Rome.

Filled the time
This was a little more childish than we expected since we were doing with grown children, but it did kill time and have us walking around the area. The end got a bit tedious, we didn’t end in the area we started which was a little frustrating and some of the games were overly simple and some were a little annoying trying to determine what we were being asked.
Operator response
Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed exploring the area and appreciate your comments about the difficulty and route we’ll use them to improve future versions of the game.
