Rodin Museum, Skip The Line, Private Tour in Paris

Description
Enjoy a tour of the Musée Rodin with a private guide with skip-the-line access to this popular attraction of Paris. In 1916, a year before his death, Auguste Rodin (1840-1917) bequeathed all his works and possessions to the French state which, in exchange, purchased the Hôtel Biron and committed to turning it into a museum dedicated to the artist. The Paris site opened to the public in 1919, the Meudon site in 1948. The artist’s bequest was the founding act of the Musée Rodin, perpetuating the special bond between a prime location in one of the loveliest gardens in Paris and the work of the most illustrious sculptor of his day. The molds and models he bequeathed are used to produce original bronze casts, allowing his work to be disseminated worldwide. *Please note that the museum entrance tickets are not included in the tour price. You can buy them directly on the museum website or we will send you the link once you have booked the tour.

Unfortunately our guide cancelled on us due to an accident where she had to go to hospital and no other guides were available to cover for her. Very disappointed We could not reschedule because our schedule was full.
Our guide was perfect. She added so much to the experience with her knowledge and passion. A 10 out of 10.
My tour guide never showed for my personal tour of the Rodin Museum. I spent a lot of money for a special tour and was extremely disappointed when I didn’t receive what I paid for. I reached out twice to Viator with no response. I am leaving a rating of 0. I will never book a tour with Viator again!!
The museum was great and Afsaneh was a spectacular guide. She was knowledgeably, passionate, and engaging. The museum gardens are beautiful and it was wonderful to learn more about Rodin and his contemporaries.
Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about Rodin and all of his beautiful sculptures. We learned a lot and thoroughly enjoyed our tour of this amazing museum. The Rodin Museum is a gem and should not be missed on a trip to Paris!
Guide was late. Guide did not have a strong sense of personal space and kept bumping into us and touching us. Guide did not answer basic questions but instead told long, dramatic stories about how the art should make us feel but did not share basic facts. Guide did not pause for questions from us. Also the tour was during when museum was free but Viator still requires us to buy museum tickets.
Information was good but guide did not respond to us, kept talking the entire time, had no sense of space- breathing into our faces with a cough and touching us. She seemed affected and we left early.
Really enjoyed the Musée Rodin. It was our first time ever visiting it, and our private tour with Damien really made the day that much more special, with lots of facts and history shared by him with us about the artist’s work and life. Highly recommend.
Guide was absolutely fabulous, very knowledgeable and professional. We really enjoyed the excursion and had a great time. Thank you so much.
Completely unacceptable situation, as after the booking and us sharing all our various contact details the tour guide simply did not bother showing up. Nobody called and nobody emailed or messaged and essentially wasted our time. Don't bother booking this tour because it simply will not happen.
