We had an amazing time on this tour! Our guide, Joe Black, was outstanding from start to finish. He was friendly, knowledgeable, organized, and made sure everyone felt safe while having a great time. The itinerary was perfect—we started with a visit to a wildlife animal sanctuary where we got to see and learn about some incredible animals. Next, we had an absolute blast riding dune buggies through exciting trails, which was definitely a highlight of the day. To top it all off, we relaxed at a beautiful private beach resort, the perfect way to end an unforgettable adventure. Joe made the entire experience fun, smooth, and memorable. If you’re looking for a tour that combines wildlife, adventure, and relaxation all in one day, this is the one to book. Highly recommend Joe Black and this tour—we would definitely do it again!
Absolutely the Best experience in Roatan Honduras!! We received great communication prior to and the day of excursion. The directions that were given to us made it very easy to find our guide who was waiting for us outside the cruise port. Our guide, Joe Black, was friendly, hospitable, knowledgeable, and genuinely went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience from start to finish. He talked about the history of Roatan while on our drive to the animal sanctuary where we got to interact with a variety of species of monkeys, birds, and butterflies. We were able to feed and hold moneys and toucans and learn all about them. It was a magical experience getting to interact with the animals so closely. Joe Black took us to a place with a gorgeous overlook and shopping vendors. On the way to the ATV’s we also stopped at a place where you could buy local products from Roatan and enjoyed some homemade ice cream. When we got to the atvs the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful getting us geared up to go on our off-road adventures. Our teenagers had the time of their life riding around in the muddy jungle and once our time was up we had access to showers, snacks, and drinks. The highlight of the adventure was the private beach club that Joe Black took us to after. The pools, beaches, inflatables, snorkel, and facilities of the resort were breathtaking and provided a luxury afternoon for all of us. Joe Black met us at the lobby when our time was up and made sure he got us back to the cruise port in time for our departure. I highly recommend booking this excursion and wouldn’t hesitate to book it again in the future!
The buggy are in good condition they make sure you are safe at all times and that you have fun... make sure tou bring an extra cloths since you will be dirty after

The only good thing was the employees, but the equipment they have is non functional and does not look or is safe. The little cars aspect of the trip was horrible one of them caught on fire will my family member was riding it.

We enjoyed our guide Glavin allot. Would highly recommend. Was courteous and helpful all day. The animal reserve was amazing and Tour great. Also the buggy ride was great fun. Just wish it was a little more muddy. The resort at the end was beautiful and was not crowded at all. The food we had for lunch there was very good also.

This excursion was hands down one of the BEST days of our trip! Pro tip: get off the ship EARLY because the port gets super crowded. Thankfully, Glavin made it easy—he communicated exactly where to meet and was already there waiting for us (huge win!). Our first stop was the animal park, and WOW—such a fun experience! We had monkeys and birds literally jumping onto our hands and on top of our heads! The sloth was adorable and such a highlight—slow, sweet, and surprisingly photogenic! After about an hour at the animal park, came the Dune buggies—and YES, you will get muddy, so come prepared! It was an absolute blast driving the loop, splashing through puddles, and just letting loose. Definitely bring a change of clothes and a towel—you’ll need it! We wrapped up the day at a beautiful private beach where we relaxed, soaked in the views, and enjoyed some peaceful time before heading back. Glavin truly made the experience—he was an incredible driver, super fun, and shared tons of interesting facts about Roatan along the way. We felt safe, well taken care of, and never rushed. Plus, we got back to the ship with plenty of time to spare. Highly recommend this excursion—such fun memories made! And seriously… ask for Glavin!
If I can give this excursion 1000 point I would. It was the absolute best. Right off the bat the driver and guide were so nice and knowledgeable. Taking us to our first stop was the wildlife sanctuary. The host was super friendly and gave us some amazing facts about every single animal we saw. Second stop was to the jungle for our dune buggy/atv's adventure. Everyone there was also super nice. We are a family of 9 and it was nice for all of us to enjoy this. We got absolutely wrecked with the mud and water but that made the experience even better. We knew we would get dirty so we made sure to wear clothes we did not care to get dirty. After that we headed to the private pool/beach. This placed looked like where famous people go to relax. It was so beautiful and clean. We laid out by the pool with food and drinks and I even managed to get a massage by the beach. It was the best massage ever. This will be something I would highly recommend every single time.
Sloths and monkeys was a quick enjoyable stop. aTV’s were the highlight for sure! Be prepared to get muddy. The company they use could work on the conditions of their atvs. Our driver was excellent! We didn’t make it to the beach resort as we got off our tender boat a few hrs behind. But still worth the cost!
Awesome day! Erik picked us up at the port and took us to the zoo where we saw sloths, held monkeys and experienced other wild animals. Then off to some buggy fun where we got wet and wild. Finally, headed to Pristine Bay to relax a bit. Erik was fun and shared his experience on the island...it was an awesome 5 hours...with drop off right at the port to catch our ship.
We had a fantastic time. It was a fun, thrilling adventure. It was absolutely fabulous…so much fun. It was more fun than we ever expected. It is a definite must!
