Riverside and Leslieville Food and Walking Experience

Excellent tour. Our group had certain food allergies restrictions and needed wheel chair access and Maya was able to plan the tour around those restrictions. The food was excellent and by the end of the tour you definitely won't be hungry. Maya knowledge of the local history was very interesting.

Good experience, Maya was friendly made you feel welcome. Very knowledgeable of the area and the food and drink Tastings very good. Pastry, pizza, Beer, Bread. They all went down well.

We had an amazing time on the Riverside & Leslieville Walking and Food Tour with Maya! She is truly a one-woman powerhouse. She has thoughtfully designed the walking route, taking you through vibrant mural alleys, past historic buildings, and sharing fascinating stories about the neighborhood’s history along the way. It was great going around the riverside neighborhood with Maya. She provided interesting details on the neighborhood history and ensured the food stops are local, food is awesome and establishments had stories of their own. Everyone had a great time and loved how attentive and knowledgeable Maya was. I would definitely do another neighborhood or a custom tour with Maya. Also I had suggested my friends go on this tour so I was super happy when my friends were engaged, entertained and satisfied with the tour.

Riverside was never a place I had spent any time in. Always transiting through on the way to somewhere else. Maya made the community come to life with a terrific curation of landmarks, amazing food (just the right amount to fuel but not weigh you down) and stories. Toronto is an amazing collection of communities and history that deserves to be taken in, and experienced at the right pace. Maya excelled at doing just that-slowing down the pace of life and highlighting the amazing places, eats and stories that changes your perspective of the city we call home. Something all of us can use more of. And Delicious Discoveries is the only company I would recommend you use to discover the city of Toronto.

What a great tour! The host, Maya, was so knowledgeable about Toronto! I thought the tour was just about the food, but I learned about Toronto history, and even about the architecture and art that we passed. We hit four places, all of which were delicious, and worthy of adding to my "visit again soon!" list! What a great day! Now I have to book the Casa Loma tour!!!

This was my second Delicious Discoveries walking tour, and I was reminded of the reason I keep coming back.
