Join us to the heart of Tenorio Volcano to discover the mistery of the minerals that produces an reaction that makes a natural color river into a marvelous light blue color; right where Buena Vista river and Roble river merge (Both rivers come from the Volcano) there is magic that turns the color of the river as a result of the different concentrations of minerals, the natural chemicals mix cause a reaction between sulfur from the volcano and calcium carbonate from the rain, making one of the most beautiful attractions in Costa Rica. On the tour we will take to the breathtaking waterfall called “Bride’s veil” which is the best part of this adventure, also we will take you to the Tenorio Volcano view point, thermos mineral hot springs and volcanic mud ponds. This adventure is waiting for you, words are not enough; the beauty of this place speaks for itself.

Excellent experience, punctual, very kind and good vibes
Melvin and Marvin made sure we had the best tour!! Local history was shared throughout the hike and we saw animals I never would’ve spotted without a guide. I highly recommend this tour as there is lots to see. It was the best waterfall hike I’ve ever done!
Excellent tour. The guide Melvin was very attentive and helped us throughout the tour, even more so when the road was difficult. He was always concerned about us. Very beautiful experience!!
Abel was a great tour guide! The entire experience was amazing and smooth. I had a lot of fun! Especially swimming at the river at the end!! Totally recommend
Learned a lot! It was a pretty intensive hike but my 5 y/o was able to manage. Due to the weather, we were unable to see the volcano and the rivers were not blue. Not the company's fault just a bit disappointing. Overall, the hike was good and would try again with different weather.
We booked for the 15th although, after a few days of heavy rain, the guide (Melvin) was very sincere and proposed that we postpone the excursion to the next day since the river was not its blue color. It was very honest of you, and thanks to that, we managed to see the river and have a very nice excursion that met our expectations. The final swim was excellent, we didn't know the swimming area was going to be so spectacular, an incredible landscape and crystal-clear bluish water like something out of a fairy tale. The hike is very pleasant: we saw two snakes, and the crater is very characteristic.
Melvin was an excellent guide and made sure to show us the best places to take photos, as well as the incredible wildlife and the most beautiful landscapes. At all times he was attentive to ensure we were all okay, keeping the group together and making sure no one was left behind. He was very kind, attentive, and shared very interesting information throughout the tour. Without a doubt, I recommend this experience 100%.
We had a wonderful day with Joseph our tour guide. He explained everything very well and really took his time to look for all the animals. He was even able to spot two Tukans, which was amazing!! All in all we would definitely recommend the tour.
Such an incredible tour from start to finish! Melvin was amazing from the very beginning, picking me up in La Fortuna and immediately sharing so much knowledge about the area, wildlife, and local history. Along the way, he made the experience even more special by spotting sloths and monkeys for us and stopping so we could really take it all in. The hike, waterfall, swimming spot, and lunch were all perfect — I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better day. Melvin was fantastic at finding wildlife and explaining everything in such an engaging and informative way. He was also extremely friendly throughout the entire experience, always checking in to make sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves. You could genuinely tell he is passionate about what he does, and he took the time to answer all our questions with real enthusiasm and deep knowledge of the history and facts he was sharing. I’m so grateful for this experience and would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area.
Melvin our guide was great. He was excellent explaining the area and showing us around Rio Celeste. It was a rainy day and he still made the trip very enjoyable
