Our guide was very friendly, but the tour itself felt a little disjointed. There was a lot of standing around, and without any sound assistance it was sometimes difficult to hear what was being said. The history was at times difficult to follow as it bounced from topic to topic, but we did have a fun stop at a lovely cafe for coffee and pastries.
Excellent tour. Alexis was engaging, enthusiastic, professional and tremendously knowledgable. (Perhaps a little less professional was the stress and ranting of the staff at High Price office 😂, but that didn’t detract at all).
Very informative and not a linear experience. Alexis took us through various points of history to show us why the city looks like it does now, and what shaped its past. He asked us all questions to get us thinking, and yet took the time to answer anyone’s questions. It was well done and a fascinating tour of an amazing city.
