Not what I expected.
Be prepared if water too low, they will take you to castle. It was good, but lots of stairs and ramps to walk up. Uneven ground. Tiny bus aisle way.

Come with us to one of the most beautiful destinations in Germany: The Middle Rhine Valley. The very spectacular section of the river from Ruedesheim to St. Goarshausen is UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will see a good part of it. Tour departure and return place is Frankfurt. We leave by bus or van and you will be accompanied by an English speaking tour guide throughout the day. Only approx. one hour away from the hectic of urban living you will enjoy a magnificent panorama: the winding loops of the lower mountain ranges, the small traditional villages, the steep terraces of the vineyards and so many medieval castles on both sides of the banks.
Assmannshausen
We will take a lovely and relaxing ride on one of the steamer boats on the river. It is just one of the highlights during this excursion with an average duration of 1 to 1,5 hours. Close to the river edge: Our restaurant for lunch (full day) or dinner (half day), an extraordinary, richly decorated place place and a good choice for a light or hearty meal in between. Your tour guide will let you know more. Also included: an entertaining lesson in the history of wine growing dating back to ancient Roman times taking place in a cosy tavern along with some small tastes of local wines.
Niederwald Monument (Niederwalddenkmal)
Only Full day tour ============= In summer time we also offer to join an "open air" cable car ride from the top of the hills into the valley - a short but great experience. The ride is not included in the tour price and can be booked on the spot against a small fee. And finally: if time allows, we will also drive up the hills as well for a view over the Rhine valley - a perfect chance to take home some photos from this beautiful landscape.

Old time steamer boat that didn’t sail
Tour was okay. Originally I booked a Rhine River Cruise, but when we arrived at the pick up location, the tour was only for the castle, small wine tasting and lunch, due to low water on the river. No option was given to us ahead of time, many of us were upset about it and it was frustrating to see passenger cruise on the river and we were sitting at a hot bus.

Wonderful experience, the cruise on the Rhine and the views from the top were absolutely amazing.. The driver and the guide were kind, courteous and friendly. Special reference of appreciation to the guide who was very friendly and most of all knowledgeable..!!

It was a very nice trip....
It was a very nice trip. We saw great scenery along the Rhine. The castles and vineyards are so beautiful. The trip included a nice German lunch and wine tasting. I recommend this trip for anyone looking for a nice tour.

The trip ended an hour...
The trip ended an hour and a half early. We went on the ride on the boat and saw the exact two castles that we could see from the shore and then turned around and repeated the pathway that we had driven and already seen those sites. Meal was mediocre. Tour guide was very snarky when you ask questions.

Last minute change of plan
We were very disappointed to find out that due to record low water level of the Rhine River, the half day cruise was cancelled. This bad news was broken to us at the time of the pick up at 11am at the meet up place. Instead, a tour bus picked us up for the destination. This was a totally different experience and we had no choice for this alternative arrangement. We would have been happy if we could simply get a full refund.

Beautiful Rhine Experience
We had a beautiful day. The views were fantastic from the overlook at the statue of Germania to the boat ride on the Rhine.

Willy is the best
Wonderful trip! Willy was an amazing guide, and our bus driver was A+ driver on the small curving roads. Lunch was nice in a very cute restaurant. The boat ride was gorgeous, even though the water was so low, it was a great experience.
