Laguna Quilotoa
This impressive lagoon was formed in the crater of an inactive volcano and is one of the most beautiful and visited places in the country. On the tour, you will be able to observe the bottom of the lagoon from the viewpoint. We descend to the lagoon, where you can rent a kayak for a tour around the lagoon (not included in the tour). After the ascent we have lunch and return to Quito
Canon del Rio Toachi
This stunning canyon is a popular tourist destination due to its scenic beauty, unique geological formations, and the opportunity for various outdoor activities.
Sendero al Fondo del Crater
One of the most popular activities in Quilotoa is walking around the crater. There is an approximately 9 kilometer trail that takes you to the edge of the crater and allows you to enjoy impressive panoramic views. The hike can be challenging due to the altitude, but it is a rewarding experience. If you want to experience the lagoon in a unique way, you can rent kayaks or take boat rides to explore its waters from a different perspective.

I really liked this tour! The province of Cotopaxi is a place full of history, culture, and incredible landscapes. During the tour, we were able to meet a local community and visit the Quilotoa lagoon. Traveling alone, I felt safe, since the guide supported me at all times and created a dynamic environment that allowed me to interact with other people. They were very punctual both on the way there and on the way back. If you are traveling alone, I highly recommend taking the tour with David. 😊

I absolutely loved Ecuador.
