The Alanya ATV Tour provides the possibility to spend a half-day filled with adrenaline. The riders on the tour can test the speed limits on the special paths made in the hills of the Taurus Mountains. Alanya Quad Safari Tour – being offered twice a day – lasts approximately 3 hours. The commute is included in the 3 hours. After being picked up from the hotel, there will be a small briefing. For those that have not ridden an ATV before, there will be a test drive. Our tour will begin after you are given all details about the ATVs and after your safety has been ensured. Every day, both in the morning and the evening, there will be two sessions offered. Was good day out for family but don't wear shorts as engine / exhust heat burt my leg ended up seeing doctor otherwise reasonable day
I recently had the pleasure of taking part in a quad safari and it was a very positive experience overall. The organization was exemplary: The night before, all the relevant data for the transfer was transmitted via WhatsApp, and the next morning I was picked up from the hotel on time. After arriving at the premises there was a briefing which was very helpful. I recommend bringing a scarf and glasses, as it can get quite dusty along the way. For those who have nothing with them, these can be purchased on site. After a short test drive on the site we started with the first tour, which led about 9 km through varied terrain. After a 30-minute break, where snacks and drinks were available for an extra charge, we continued on to the second tour, which also covered about 9 km and even took us through water – a real fun factor, even if you got wet! The return transfer also went smoothly, and overall we were on the road from 8:15 to 12:30, which meant about 4 hours including transfer time. Please note that the transfer may vary depending on the location of guests. A minor criticism is that photos may not be taken during the tour, as mobile phone use is prohibited. However, the staff takes photos that are sold later, although the prices are unknown to me as I had no interest. Luggage can also be safely stored in closets on site during tours, which is very convenient. All in all, it was an interesting experience with an excellent service from the local staff. I can definitely recommend the Quad Safari!
If you are looking for excitement and was hoping to throttle the gas a bit and drive some offroad safari, this is not the place. You will drive in a huge group and youre not allowed to do anything slight challenging with the atv. This is also not a safari in the taurus mountains, you drive on a dirt road where there is nothing to see. Left most of the group dissapoonted. If youre looking to let out some adrenaline and have some fun dont go. If youre looking for a slow trip with your kids its maybe worth it.
ATV/Dirt Buggy Booked as a treat for the other half who’s always wanted to have a go at quad biking, we were excitedly looking forward to the event, & it was cheaper to do it here for the family than other parts of Turkey. Pick up went smoothly with updates coming via WhatsApp to confirm the pick up time up until the night before event day. The morning of the big day, pick up arrived promptly on time, with a short trip only about 15 minutes from our hotel to the event location. On arrival there’s a covered & exposed seating area whilst the event organisers brief you on the operation & site polices. They have all the necessary bits there to buy for safe operation of the ATV’s & Dirt Buggy’s, however a good pair of wrap around sunglasses & face/nose covering will also work a treat. Just make sure all clothing worn is that you really don’t mind getting covered in muddy, dirty water, & the footwear the same. Better still if have fastening sandals (Velcro style) which allow you to drive or the beach style footwear would be even better. There is a wash down means on site, in the form of a hose pipe which is refreshing welcome at the end of the drive. Consider wearing something which is throw away & subject to no longer being wanted. After the safety brief there is a test drive to check that you will be able to operate the vehicles to the safe requirement during the visit. During our visit we noticed a family group move into one of the dirty buggy’s rather than the ATV’s due to their young children being nervous on the back of the bikes. The ride is split into 2 halves. After the first section of the drive there is a brief rest stop, where you can purchase a drink & use the very basic facilities (Mixed Sex) but does the job. Then the extremely fun part of the drive that everyone is excited for, a quick sprint up the dusty track during which you often lose sight of the rider in front of you, then dive back down the trail for the wet & wild section. I don’t want to spoil the fun & surprise around this section, but it was the most fun part of the trail with all of us screaming & laughing so much. I would say that the dirt buggy’s are naturally lower to the ground than the ATV’s so naturally offer different style of ride. An amazing time with a really fabulous team, which at the end offer you the opportunity to purchase a USB pen of photos and video of the experience. They except both local currency & euro, and there might be a little flexibility in the cost. The looks that you get on the return to the hotel afterwards are priceless & it’s a real family experience I wouldn’t hesitate to do again. Thank you to all the team for a wonderful 4 wheeled experience.
The whole riding experience was super fun. The pictures on the other hand was total rip off- they all look the same, don't look nowhere near to professional photography, the videos wouldn't open at all. Skip that part:)
The route is "meh" they take you in a convoy around some paved and some dirt roads, and through a small pond just to take those few pictures. It is not like you are stopping at a mountain top with a view, it is just you regular roads. You are not allowed to deviate from the "group" and you are not driving more than 20km/h. You are not allowed to take your own camera or phone to make memories. They will sell you pictures they have taken afterwords at extortionate prices... For the dust and smoke, they will sell you masks and glasses if you want to buy them. All in all, what you paid 20$ for booking, ends up at about 80$ with pictures, and dust protection. I guess this is where the real money is. We took a big round (about 20 minutes) and came back for a 15-20 min break, where they give us the price for the pictures. I asked him, now that you have taken the pictures you want to sell, and I have bought the pictures, can I take my own 360 Camera when we go back out after the break? This time it was ok...
Just bad !!! Only good was that our hotel was close to the location. Quads and buggies are much too loud and just junk, can hardly be steered and has absolutely no power. The climb was always a challenge. Achja equipment what you absolutely needed had been far too expensive. The route that was driven was just boring and so slowly designed again and again breaks and lots of noise. Then another half an hour rested at a piknic, which apparently counted towards the driving time. Then to the end of the employee all were wet with a hose while driving by without asking , then wet into the car and back into the hotel . This trip was the best example of rip-off , lots of money , no quality and quickly back again. Keep your hands off any tours
Had a great time although not much opportunity to take pictures for ourselves as the guide wanted to sell us pictures taken by his camera man. Also had to buy a scarf (very much needed) for 5 euros. The roads are dusty and rugged so great fun!!
It was promised to be a group of Max 10, but instead over 30 people with long waiting time in a taxi with no aircondition… Also slow driving and an unnecessary break added so they could profit from a very overpriced shop they had there, with 3-4x more expensive things to buy. They also sold overpriced equipment you had to have on the Safari and the total amount was almost as expensive as the tour itself. Would recommend a different company, although the staff were Nice.
