Overall, the quad bike experience was nice and we enjoyed the ride in the desert, but unfortunately several things disappointed us. First of all, we had booked the excursion with a French-speaking guide, but unfortunately no one spoke French during the excursion. The main problem was the lack of breaks during the quad bike ride. It was extremely hot and my partner started to feel sick because of the heat and dehydration. We thought there would be a few short stops to drink water, especially given the temperatures, but that was practically not the case. Finally, one of the guides had to take her with him on his quad bike for part of the return trip, because she no longer felt well enough to continue driving. We also had a rather unpleasant experience at the end of the excursion. A photographer offered us the photos for €20 per person, which we politely refused. Shortly after, when my partner wanted to wash her hands, this same person turned off the water while she was in the middle of washing them. We found this behavior quite inappropriate and totally unnecessary. Finally, we had to insist several times for the return transfer to our hotel to actually leave, even though it had been well organized and paid for. Despite everything, there were good moments and the quad bike ride itself was really nice, but unfortunately all these problems made the experience quite disappointing for us. I prefer to share an honest review so that these various points can be improved in the future.
We have been here with our daughter of 12 years. The quad biking was very nice. Just make sure you get a good quad. There is a difference in this. For me 1 brake didn't work, and another quad almost fell apart from misery. They try to put on protective glasses and a scarf (way too expensive). Make sure you have a scarf and sunglasses, the protective glasses are not necessary. We didn't get a helmet, not even our 12-year-old daughter, who bounced off on the back. The Bedouin village was fake. They sell overpriced water and soda. Bring your own water! The camel ride was also short. Of course they want tips for everything. The way back went at 60 km/h, slightly less bumps. You have to be able to take a beating and you have to be careful driving yourself. Don't get ripped off. For example, photos of 40 euros...
Amazing experience and value for money!! The guides are so friendly and the views were unbelievable. They were amazing with kids on this excursion too. Would definitely recommend!
An enjoyable trip, made our children’s holiday. Their favourite excursion whilst in Hurghada. €3 to purchase a scarf and €3 to hire goggles. Highly recommend getting both.
Pickup was supposed to be at 08:30, then we got a message at 06:10 that it will be 07:45... Transfer was in a jeep, but we had to fit 13 people in it, way to much. The activities and experience overall was perfect! :)
The only issue we had was being late as we were told pickup was outside of hotel but they aren’t allowed through the main gates of the Makadi complex. The excursion itself was an excellent experience. All quads in working order. All staff friendly and know what they are doing. You’ll need extra money for photos and taxes. Short camel ride at the half way stop was an experience. Take plenty of water if going in August. We had a great time.

Quad biking was good we did a private trip so waa just our family instead of a big group was only 10 pound extra be careful when u go on camel ride they will tell u to give them your phone to take pictures but will then demand money off you for taking pictures and your phone back. Your guide will take pictures they wanted 120 pound for all photos and video I told them will pay 40 pound and they agreed

This was such a fun activity - Moustafa was an EXCELLENT guide and leader. The safety overview was reasonable and clear. The trip through the desert and the visit to the Bedouin community were both really interesting. The pickup and dropoff made it really easy to get to the activity. My son and I had a great time, and we would recommend it to anyone interested in an ATV experience.
