Punta Cana Scuba Doo: Underwater Scooter Adventure

We booked via the app for a group of 6. This was based upon an in-app availability check. They told us later that evening that they didn’t have space and offered us a slot on the day we were due to fly home. We declined and asked for a refund. Which they agreed to. When we got home I chased the refund with them but also noticed the request a refund option in the app. I completed this and now 1.5 weeks later, I’ve got our money. Very poor experience.

I loved experience the onsite staff was amazing. there was one lady who called me to say the bus will be leaving in eight minutes but I was already on the bus not sure what that was about.

First the scuba support team were amazing and really patient with my family as not everyone was feeling safe/comfortable to try this. I am sad there was no glass bottom boat as advertised bc my hope was if someone in my group was not up to doing the scuba scooter they could at least watch the fish/coral reef through the boat. But instead it was just a platform and my daughter that didn’t end up doing the scuba scooter couldn’t see much. You spend 15-20 minutes in the water using the scooter as they only have 4 of them. The rest of the time you are free to snorkel or just hang on the platform. Our group was about 20 people so that meant waiting a lot for others.

Wouldn't do this again if it were free. On Wednesday they forgot to pick us up. On Thursday we were picked up at 1.45 and returned to our hotel at 7pm. Too many people on the trip. We got 8 to 10 mins on the scooters but weren't in control, but pushed around by scuba divers. Not many fish to see and I ripped my swim shorts on a screw sticking out of the side of the diving platform and staff didn't seem to think it dangerous.

This was nothing like it is advertised to be. Not worth the money!! False advertising to me. You spend very little time underwater

Do NOT use this company. They canceled my tickets 2 hour before the event. Ruined my family's Saturday. I whatsapp at 11 for 1:30 am trip to confirm when the pickup arrives and was informed, my family's tickets are canceled. My confirmation # 1588277653 I had paid in full and had tickets. The company did not pickup phone. Just canceled on whatsapp.

Very disorganised, pick up was changed to an hour later, when we arrived another group was also there snorkling. The transfer to the "platform is by small boat and difficult to get into Took along while to get everybody to use the scooters (only 4 of them), was OK, but very short. They had to rush all the time, ran out of batteries for their camera and did not seem to know what they were doing. By the time all were done, rushed back to shore and then told we had no time to even look at pictures as mini bus had to leave. Have emailed to get pictures but no answer. - overall not recommended.

Great little trip for a few hours. Booking and pick up was super easy and transfer wasn’t long at all. Arrived at the beach, quick briefing and out onto the boat. Arrived at the dive platform and while others do the Scubadoo you get to snorkel as much as u want or as little. Lots of fish around too see. We were there for about 1hr-1,5hrs. You get ur scoobadoo and photos. The crew are GREAT and super friendly as well. The only part I personally don’t like and wouldn’t like to do again are the dolphins. They are penned and it’s just not something I like. However this is mentioned on the tour and culturally seems normal here with all the other animals for photos.

I put a complaint in for a full refund with the HQ area code 718 area code number 1) paid for a Scooba Doo only tour Meaning NO GLASS BOTTOM BOAT NO SNORKELING JUST ALL TIME SCOOBA DOO It started with a 2 hour ride on a smelly dirty van making 4 other resort stops We were first ones on by the time the last other passengers loaded it was shoulder to shoulder poor MINI VAN AC was Jon existent!!! 2 hours To the Aqua center that was only 13 minutes from our resort!!!!! I showed the tour operator my booking and he said NO ALL three our party of four refused to go on the shortened tour and I called NY VIATOR HQ LOGGED A formal complaint From the scuba center while there…. I demanded to Speak to a supervisor and put on hold twice the first customer service came back on and tried to tell me no supervisor I refused to hang up on hold for 30 minutes I took screen shots of the amount of time I was on hold Then the tour operator says ok I take you scooba Doo for 15 minutes Wasn’t born yesterday No way was I gonna take a tour that was suppose be 1-1.5 hrs on a scooba scooter for only 15 minutes Demanded we be taken back by transport to hotel I have booked numerous tours with aviator this was the first ABSOLUTE “Bait and switch “ operator and mis representation of advertising of a tour I ever booked

⭐️Going down in the water and Seeing the beauty under the ocean was so Amazing. The excursion crew team was Great!!
