Pub Crawl: New Orleans Cocktail and Ghost Tour

John was awesome! He had great stories and is very knowledge about NOLA. Highly recommend this tour.

John was a knowledgeable, captivating, and fun guide. Informative and unique tour coupled with a great drinking experience. His bar stops were unique locations I likely wouldn’t have thought to visit. His connections got us reduced prices for unique cocktails and/or reserved seating with great ambiance and music.

This tour began promptly at 8 PM and finished at 10 PM. We went to various locations and were offered discounted drinks at each location. The group was small as he does not take more than 18 people which made the experience more intimate. The drinks were good but the star of the show of course is John. He is essentially a search engine of New Orleans history and can answer any questions you may be curious about. Not only is he very informed, but tells the stories in a way that captivates you. Without a doubt, a very great tour and worth every $. Absolutely recommend if you're in New Orleans especially on your first day as that's how I did it.

I didn’t really care for this tour. I didn’t really care for the tour guys stories or his mannerisms, was very acted out like he was on stage as an actor someone might like it, I just prefer a more professional historian type of tour guide. I didn’t care for the pub stops . Lots of walking three different pubs, interesting different drinks but two of them I didn’t care for, but that was my deal. You can order whatever you want. just didn’t do anything for me.

John is an incredible historian. He is fluent in all things NOLA and really passes on as much info as you want. He’s also a GREAT storyteller

Amazing story teller! He had so many good stories! He combined historical facts and New Orleans lore which made a very entertaining and enjoyable tour! The bars and unique cocktails we were able to drink made the tour unforgettable!

This was our favourite tour we did in New Orleans - John was an incredible guide. As he led us around the streets of the French Quarter, he told us the history of the people through extremely well researched narratives, which he delivered in character. His passionate delivery kept us captivated from beginning to end and we learned alot. He linked the stories to different pubs, most of which were local gems and had a part in developing the cocktails unique to NOLA. There was no pressure in purchasing any drinks, or having anything you didn't want to, but having cocktails made to the original recipe, having John deliver them, and then share in a relaxing moment so we could enjoy them made the evening really special. Having time to get to know the other tour guests, sharing a drink, travel stories and experiences made the night one to truly remember. Thanks so much John.

John knew his history. The stories he told were from history, written in books dated in the 1800’s. And he told them with his eyes as he shared them with us. Want Vampire tales this is NOT your tour. Want history on drinks from the past and true ghost stories YES he is the one.

Great narrated tales while touring the historic French Quarter. The Guide was amazing, animated, personable. Fantastic cocktail recommendations along the way.
