Enjoy a scenic stop at Gibbon Falls, where the Gibbon River cascades 84 feet (25 m) over a dramatic series of rock formations. You will have an opportunity to admire the waterfall, take photographs, and enjoy views of the surrounding Yellowstone landscape. The thick, uninterrupted forest in the area has the appearance of a blanket of green covering the hills.

Norris Geyser Basin is one of the hottest, most acidic, and most dynamic geothermal areas of Yellowstone. Here, you will walk along the boardwalk to experience colorful hot springs, steam vents, and active geysers while your guide explains the area's unique features and volcanic geology. Norris is also home to Steamboat Geyser, the world's tallest active geyser. It reaches heights of up to 300 feet (92 m) (more than twice the height of Old Faithful's average), but Steamboat is infamously unpredictable, with eruption intervals ranging from days to decades.

Stop at the Upper Falls of the Yellowstone River and take a short walk and down a rock stairway to stand at the brink of the 109-foot (33 m) waterfall, with the safety of a 4-foot (1.2 m) rock wall between viewers and the river. Feel the power of the water as it rushes by and drops over the edge. There are several spots to pause to take photographs of the river and the falls.

Explore the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, famous for its dramatic yellow, pink, and orange canyon walls and spectacular views along the Yellowstone River. You will also be able to see the stunning 308-foot (94 m) Lower Falls of the Yellowstone River from Artist Point. Your guide will share the geology and history of the canyon while giving travelers time to enjoy the viewpoints and take photographs of this iconic Yellowstone landscape.

Travel through Hayden Valley, one of Yellowstone's premier wildlife-viewing areas. You will enjoy expansive views of the landscape while watching for bison, elk, bears, and other wildlife. Your guide will help you spot animals and explain the valley's wildlife and the significance of the area.

A quick stop at the Mud Volcano area, where Yellowstone's geothermal forces create bubbling mud pots, steaming features, and colorful thermal formations. You will walk the shorter boardwalk loop to see and learn about the two main features of this geyser basin and the powerful forces beneath Yellowstone.

Enjoy scenic views of Yellowstone Lake, North America's largest high-altitude lake. You will take in the expansive mountain and shoreline scenery, and there are several places along the lake where we can pull over to take advantage of photo opportunities.

At West Thumb Geyser Basin, colorful hot springs, geysers, and other geothermal features sit along the shoreline of Yellowstone Lake. You will walk the boardwalk loop with your guide while learning about the area's geothermal activity and enjoying views where Yellowstone's hot thermal features meet the cold lake.

Watch Old Faithful, the world's most famous geyser, as it erupts high above the Upper Geyser Basin. Your guide will also show you the impressive lobby of the historic Old Faithful Inn. There are over 150 hydrothermal features in the area behind Old Faithful, and depending on what your group wants to experience, we can wander around the geyser basin and see the highlights of other features, either before or after Old Faithful's eruption.

Visit Grand Prismatic Spring, Yellowstone's largest hot spring, and one of the Park's most spectacular geothermal features. You will enjoy views of the brilliant blue, green, yellow, and orange colors created by the heat-loving microorganisms. Depending on your group's fitness level, we can hike up to the overlook to get a bird's-eye view of the spring, or we can walk along the boardwalk that brings us up close to the feature.

Explore Fountain Paint Pot, where Yellowstone's geothermal activity creates bubbling mud pots, colorful hot springs, steaming vents, and erupting geysers. This is one of the few places near the main road where you can experience all 4 types of geothermal features in one area.
